A Day In Another World

Who: Anyone in the event
What: For 21 hours, pairs of characters will get to visit one of their worlds
When: Sunday morning, from 1AM to 10PM (in Luceti time)
Where: Somewhere else!
Summary: It's described here. One person will play the host, another the visitor.
Rating: Keep it clean, kids! Move your icky business to appointments posts.

Quick run of things to keep in mind:

-The pair of characters will return to the host's canon point. The host will temporarily return to their physical state at whatever their canon point was.
-Anything they do will be undone after they return to Luceti.
-If they are going to be part of the Alternate Universe aspect of the event, they won't remember the visit until after they have returned to normal.

Disclaimer: Visiting canon worlds will mean having to NPC characters that may already exist in Luceti, but will have no memory or knowledge of it. Be respectful and in character and bear in mind that these do not reflect upon characters in game!

ALSO! Threading out the visit is 100% optional. You're entirely free and encouraged to discuss and handwave what goes on if you want. But if you would like to thread it out, you may do so here.

[Okay. Whew. Edward straightens up, glancing around, and tries to focus on the spot where Al's armor had been. He hates the idea of just leaving it there, but... he knows that he and Al meet up again later, that they do save him somehow. So for the moment he needs to take care of Haruhi, before the lights come back and the real fight begins.

He shifts into a crouch, searching around blindly to try and find Haruhi's hand.]

Hey, come on. We've gotta get out of here before he can attack again.

[She fumbles too, there- no that's his shoulder. So. Okay there's his hand]

Alright.

[Once he's got her hand, Edward pulls them both to their feet and takes off at a run, hopefully at a pace she can keep up with. He's assuming that Pride is the same as he was in the battle dome - that is, unable to use any of his abilities without both light and dark - and thus can't move Alphonse. That would mean he's stuck in the body of a little kid, so for the moment, they have the advantage. He more or less knows the direction the village was in, so following that route would be for the best.

The fight isn't over, though- that much is obvious. Once the lights return, Pride will just attack again. He has to figure out what to do about Haruhi first, though.

Best bet would be to get her the hell out of danger...]

Haruhi- you think you could reach the village on your own?

[Keep up? Boy she has a superfast mile and an even faster sprint. She keeps pace easily. But when asked-

Provided he's not going to kill me before I make it.

He can't. [Edward sounds sure of it, slowing down the pace a little to talk more easily as they run.] As long as there's no light around here, he can't do anything with those shadows of his. He's just a helpless kid. I need you to do two things- try to keep the people out of the woods as long as possible, and find a guy named Hohenheim, and tell him what's going on. I'm gonna find Greed and the others.

[Hopefully that'll be enough.]

[she almost says "how am I supposed to know who Hohenheim" is but then she realizes wait - no, that's Ed's dad. She had seen him on the journals.]

I can do both of those, no problem! [Okay, and then once that is confirmed she lingers just long enough to see if he has more to comment on. If he doesn't though she's breaking that grip and increasing her pace to a straight sprint.

...She's really really fast]

[Okay. Okay, now that she's leaving, he can relax a little. He'd feel pretty awful if she wound up getting hurt just because she'd been dragged into their crazy rebellion war.

He listens to the sound of her footsteps for a moment - wow, she is fast - then heads off in a different direction, calling out for Greed and the others. He's going to need help for this fight.]
