A Day In Another World

Who: Anyone in the event
What: For 21 hours, pairs of characters will get to visit one of their worlds
When: Sunday morning, from 1AM to 10PM (in Luceti time)
Where: Somewhere else!
Summary: It's described here. One person will play the host, another the visitor.
Rating: Keep it clean, kids! Move your icky business to appointments posts.

Quick run of things to keep in mind:

-The pair of characters will return to the host's canon point. The host will temporarily return to their physical state at whatever their canon point was.
-Anything they do will be undone after they return to Luceti.
-If they are going to be part of the Alternate Universe aspect of the event, they won't remember the visit until after they have returned to normal.

Disclaimer: Visiting canon worlds will mean having to NPC characters that may already exist in Luceti, but will have no memory or knowledge of it. Be respectful and in character and bear in mind that these do not reflect upon characters in game!

ALSO! Threading out the visit is 100% optional. You're entirely free and encouraged to discuss and handwave what goes on if you want. But if you would like to thread it out, you may do so here.

[She smiles. Is this scary, yes, but this is Melaka's chance to see her home. She doesn't plan on letting her weaknesses get in the way.]

[Fist punch, and he's going to head on out of the apartment. Of course, here plan to get out is to go down a fire escape on the outside. So... cue going out a window]

I'm right behind you, Melaka.

[....A window? Well. Azusa is going to very carefully follow her. It's a good thing she's dressed for something like this, wearing her purple tracksuit.]


H-here goes nothing, then!

[Melaka, by the time Azusa is out has... well. Taken to going down all the ladders and stairs and such here. Well, not all of them, but she is going down them quick like]

[She'll make it to the ground just fine! She's careful, though, and it takes her an extra minute, maybe two.]

Where are we going first?

...Tav? No, mids? Hm. [She considers a moment and then... no, what she really wants]

Gonna find Erin, guess.

A friend of yours? [Honestly, given how weird the atmosphere, the stenches are...she really wouldn't mind a drink.] Let's go see her, then.

Sister, actually.

[...Where would she meet Erin. Somewhere in the Mids. She needs to get a ride up there then. To the nearest hoverbus stop!]

You have a sister, Melaka?

[Following, following!] Is this a bus-stop?

Older, yeah. Never told you? Law.

[...But it is indeed. She nods, leaning against the pole to wait for it]

I don't think you have, no. She's...a policewoman, then?

[She doesn't hear Melaka use the word very often back home.]

Yeah, that's right. Used to fight a lot.

[...Tap tap. Man she would prefer to just jack a car, but Azu might not like that]

I'm an only child. I can't imagine what that's like.

[But she wouldn't have a choice, would she?]

[And then a flying bus swooped down. Or well, it doesn't look like a bus as much as a large vaguely bus shaped metal thing with less windows than you'd expect. But it's hovering/flying. Melaka reaches into the pocket to pull out some shiny metal coins - let's see... five of them.]

Let's get on.

E-eh? Melaka, it's hovering.

[She hesitates. H-how strange. Is this safe?]

Are you sure it's okay?

[makeitquick]

It's a bus, why wouldn't it?

[She said she se went to go get a seat towards the back]

I've never been on a, ah, flying bus before...

[She follows to the back of the bus. She has a feeling she stands out way too much, but. This is okay. Everything will be alright. Right? Right.]

[Patting Azusa on the back]

C'mon Azu! It's home, Haddyn! This is gonna be a blast!

[...And then the bus takes off]

Y-yes! I'm sure it will be, Melaka.

[Sob. She's so unsure right now, but she's going to keep smiling. It's an adventure...!]
