A Day In Another World

Who: Anyone in the event
What: For 21 hours, pairs of characters will get to visit one of their worlds
When: Sunday morning, from 1AM to 10PM (in Luceti time)
Where: Somewhere else!
Summary: It's described here. One person will play the host, another the visitor.
Rating: Keep it clean, kids! Move your icky business to appointments posts.

Quick run of things to keep in mind:

-The pair of characters will return to the host's canon point. The host will temporarily return to their physical state at whatever their canon point was.
-Anything they do will be undone after they return to Luceti.
-If they are going to be part of the Alternate Universe aspect of the event, they won't remember the visit until after they have returned to normal.

Disclaimer: Visiting canon worlds will mean having to NPC characters that may already exist in Luceti, but will have no memory or knowledge of it. Be respectful and in character and bear in mind that these do not reflect upon characters in game!

ALSO! Threading out the visit is 100% optional. You're entirely free and encouraged to discuss and handwave what goes on if you want. But if you would like to thread it out, you may do so here.

I'm the leader of a violent color gang called the Yellow Scarves. I failed Saki and disbanded them a few years ago.

Though I didn't know this at the time, Mikado is the founder of the Dollars, and while him and I had chatted every day online he had secretly lead a colorless gang and continued to after he moved here.

Anri-chan is somehow related to a series of maulings going around Ikebukuro right now called the "Slasher." She told me, and I still don't get it.

Simon-san, who you met earlier, a lot of people think is ex-KGB, or maybe he used to be an assassin, or something else in Russia. Given he's strong enough to catch a punch from Shizuo-san... [Well, think about it]

Kadota-san and the others used to be members of the Blue Squares. All of them are a little unbound, all of them are a little violent...

And. Saki was Izaya-san's puppet.

Izaya's tool. [And now, his hands tremble a bit, linking them together. White knuckles. And his voice... he's surprised at how steady it is]

Like I said, she introduced Izaya to me. She insisted I accept his advice about the Scarves.

...Saki worshiped Izaya. In her eyes, Izaya-san could do no wrong. He was them most brilliant man in the world. He was always right... about everything. About her, about me, about... us...

[It's not even "together."

It's that Saki was a tool.]

[She stiffens at that, her posture becoming straight as a board. Her grip on his hand slackens.

But she doesn't push him off.

And she doesn't pull away.]

[So, so tentative. Hesitant. And - higher pitched. She's allowing this but she's not sure what he's doing and she hopes it's okay because moon and stars, she doesn't want to lead him on and he knows that but this is so uncomfortable and he's hurting so much and it's not really a violation of anything...]

...To tell the truth, I still don't know. I don't know all the details of it. If she liked me for me, if she was interested first or if Izaya pushed her to me. She knew my name when we met... and she knew we would be together.

[Because Izaya told her so. He. Continues to lean on Katara. He's actually comforted by this, even if he knows she's uncomfortable. He keeps the light (not at all gripping, just light) hold on her hand. he hopes she'll loosen up. He knows she probably won't]
