A Day In Another World

Who: Anyone in the event
What: For 21 hours, pairs of characters will get to visit one of their worlds
When: Sunday morning, from 1AM to 10PM (in Luceti time)
Where: Somewhere else!
Summary: It's described here. One person will play the host, another the visitor.
Rating: Keep it clean, kids! Move your icky business to appointments posts.

Quick run of things to keep in mind:

-The pair of characters will return to the host's canon point. The host will temporarily return to their physical state at whatever their canon point was.
-Anything they do will be undone after they return to Luceti.
-If they are going to be part of the Alternate Universe aspect of the event, they won't remember the visit until after they have returned to normal.

Disclaimer: Visiting canon worlds will mean having to NPC characters that may already exist in Luceti, but will have no memory or knowledge of it. Be respectful and in character and bear in mind that these do not reflect upon characters in game!

ALSO! Threading out the visit is 100% optional. You're entirely free and encouraged to discuss and handwave what goes on if you want. But if you would like to thread it out, you may do so here.

[Richard can't help but laugh a little at the expression on his friend's face.]

This is where I grew up. Of course, it looks rather different now that I'm an adult.

[He hesitates for a moment, then looks back over at Isamu.]

... unless you would prefer to share my chambers?

[He's fine with whichever Isamu prefers.]

[He blinks at the offer.]

Would that not get people saying things?

At this point, I doubt that anything they say about me could possibly make me look worse.

Some people love me, but I've no doubt that there are just as many who hate me, and rightfully so. I'm not going to claim that I haven't done anything to deserve it.

You're a king. That kind of comes with the territory, but I don't think it's nearly as bad as you're making it seem. You're taking this too hard.

Perhaps I am. I do seem to have a habit of that.

[At least he's starting to recognize that, if nothing else.]

It may take a great deal of work. Are you prepared for what it will entail?

I just need to get the properly sized Hammer of Reasoning.

[But Richard just laughs.]

On second thought, I'm sure Dalen will manage to survive even if I put that paperwork off until tomorrow. It's almost time for dinner, so why don't we head down to the dining hall?

[LAUGH IT UP.]

Yeah, sure. Food sounds pretty good right about now.

Yes... yes, I think it does.

[It's a long walk downstairs simply due to the sheer size of the castle, though honestly most of it isn't worth much note, at least not in Richard's mind. He barely wanders anywhere in it beyond his own quarters, the throne room, the library and the dining hall, all of which he'll stop to point out on the way, though Isamu might notice that he spends the shortest time of all in the throne room.]

[Isamu will just try and not act too awed by it all, which he mostly succeeds at. Though really, he's too busy staring at everything else to think much of what his friend just glosses over.]

[Richard can't help but notice this and smile softly.]

Don't worry, it becomes less impressive after you've been here for a while.

I imagine so. Kinda get used to it, I guess.

[Not that he's fascinated by it or anything.]
