Summary: Worlds Collide, expectations are challenged, and what are you talking about, Sokka, we've been dating for a month.
Rating: Y for Young Adults Yelling
Katara and her boyfriend, Bumi's ward Masaomi, are heading back to the house after Katara had an experience that left her shaken with an Avatar that doesn't remember her. Sokka and his good friend Winry from Omashu are moving her back into the Avatar House after her belongings had mysteriously vanished. What could possibly go wrong?

[Despite having a relatively boring life before meeting the Gaang, she's always had the fear of being abandoned or discarded like she was as a baby. Sometimes she wonders if it was her hair. Perhaps her parents were too afraid to raise a child that would draw so much attention in a time of war. She was a freak, a genetic anomaly, and she will always be scared of being left alone. Sigh.]
So, it's pretty much done. Let's go. [She gestures at the door.]

[But Katara and her were girl buddies. They would jokingly make fun of Sokka and his subpar cooking and exchange recipes from their culture and- First Aang, now Katara? This is sad.]

Me too. Before the Fire nation took over everything was warm and friendly. King Bumi was... eccentric, but he loved his people and ruled them well. I always wanted to try and use the mailing system like Aang and his friends had, but I never had the guts to do it.
