SO INCREDIBLY OPEN
Who: Guy and Anyone
What: Guy attempts to get a grasp on the situation
When: The day he arrives
Where: In the village
Summary: Absolutely ANYONE is welcome. Guy's just trying to figure out what the hell is going on.
Rating: Anywhere up to R, depending on who Guy meets.
Guy muttered to himself, finally leaving the dim house he had woken in to enter the village beyond the threshold. It was normal, as far as villages go; quaint little houses, perhaps shops further down the main cobblestoned road (if he squinted), a river burbling happily along with a few small bridges to connect the two banks. Nothing too dangerous.
It was very quiet, however. And very dark. There weren't many lights lit; no streetlamps that he could see. There weren't any clocks or sundials, so it was impossible to tell the time, and the constellations were foreign to him. Of course, there was no Fon Belt to judge position by, either; they apparently weren't on Auldrant, after all.
The strange book tucked beneath his arm, Guy began down the road towards the other houses, intent on finding Luke, or at least a familiar face.
Or at least a shirt. It was freezing.

He was scared all by himself, he didn't like it here. And it was made worse by the fact that he now had these wings growing out of his back. He had tugged on them for a few minutes when he first woke up, but it hurt reallt bad so he had stopped.
He rounded a corner, hopefully he'd find Guy soon.

"Guy?" he called timidly, trying to see if his friend would be able to hear him in the stillness. It was so quiet, Luke was completely on edge.
no subject
It was Luke. And he was safe.
"Luke," Guy breathed, and reached out to clap his best friend's shoulder, resisting the urge to hug him. "Are you all right?"
no subject
"I'm fine, just confused and such. My back hurts, but I guess that's to be expected." He turned his head to incline at his apendages. He moved them a little, trying to exert some control over the wings, but winced again at the pain.

Not to mention that Luke had just recovered from what should have taken his life. Guy wasn't quite all right with leaving Luke on his own just yet.

But it wasn't good to worry him too much.

"Come on, it's this way. I think I remember what the place looked like."

Following Luke, eyes sharp for any attacks or enemies nearby, Guy kept glancing at the little golden wings fluttering at Luke's back. It was a strange thing to think, but Guy couldn't help but believe that they were somehow...appropriate.

He glanced back, "What is it?" He had felt Guy's eyes on his back. It was weird, knowing the other was probably staring at his wings. He turned, "What color are your's?" He pointed to the small wings on Guy's back.
no subject
He hadn't even considered looking.
"Uh, I'm not sure," Guy admitted, scratching the back of his head sheepishly. "I didn't really check. There wasn't much light anyways, so I...just didn't notice?" Turning, Guy glanced over his shoulder at Luke. "What color do they look like? Think it's important at all?"
no subject
"They're blue.... a pale blue," the younger boy stated. He couldn't turn around fully to look at his own wings, so getting to see Guy's was interesting to him.

And why did his neck sting as he turned his head?
no subject
But he stopped after a second and squinted, looking at the back of Guy's neck. He tilted his head slightly, moving his hand up to touch the skin. "Hey, what is that?" It was black, Guy's skin had some sort of markings on it. He knew that had never been there before. It looked like a series of tiny vertical lines. He brushed his thumb over them.

"C'mon, let's find a mirror."
no subject
"In here! There's a mirror!" He had overlooked it when he had first woken up here.
no subject
"They're here too," Guy murmured, fingering the marks. The skin wasn't in any way raised or rough...was that a form of tracking? Were they being tracked by whoever or whatever brought them here?
