Summary: Gold and Silver have been in Luceti together for a year and yet have never had a single Pokémon battle. Deciding it's time to rectify, they head off to the Battle Dome to throw down!
Rating: PG? I mean, it's Pokémon...
[Gold had been anxiously waiting for this day. Sure, the standard format for Pokémon battles involved just battling whenever your eyes meet, but if they did that, there'd be constant battles all day, every day. Therefore, these things had to be planned.

...Besides that, Silver was his rival. Always has been, always will be. That makes this battle special. A battle to settle old scores... No, a battle to determine who's the best trainer out of the two of them, and furthermore... To show everyone just how it's done.

It was time. Their battle lies ahead.]

Whoa. So this is what it's like.

[It was a bit unsettling for Aang too, although he tried to believe the assurances he's heard defending the Pokemon battles. He was grateful for Katara's presence, but he became more dismayed when he noticed her reaction.]

You okay, Katara?

I'm fine! [She said quickly. Maybe a little too quickly. She attempts to ameliorate it.]

It's just - this is a little strange. If I didn't know that the Pokemon had their own minds about this, I'd be really uncomfortable right now.

[Instead of. You know. Mildly uncomfortable.]

I know. It's kind of weird for me to watch, too. But they say this is how they live in their world. And I don't know why that monkey has an udder on its tail.

I know! [She lowers her voice conspiratorially.] And they say our world's animals are strange.

[He nods along knowingly.]

Yeah, our animals are just like two of their animals together. But these guys, they're cute but it's like they're just parts of different animals mixed together with element powers.

Can you imagine a whole world filled with animals like these?

I can't tell whether I'd love or be afraid of it. It'd be to try to ride a lot of them, but it sounds like a lot of them can be really dangerous. [He tries to un-remember Masaomi's comment about Pichu's potential power.]

[Lightly:] That hasn't stopped you before.

[He can't help but grin mischievously.]

You're right about that. They could make a fun new challenge.

You just... might want to talk to Silver or Gold about it. They're probably protective of them.

[...okay, why is the monkey-thing glowing?]

[A chuckle.] I'm not gonna try to ride their Pokemons without ask- wait, what's happening to the monkey?

I don't know - I think he's glowing.

[Glowing never necessarily means... good things.]

[Aang knows that full well. So there's some relief when the glowing stops, but he's still confused by the creature's new appearance.]

It... did it get another udder-tail?

None of the animals back home can do that... can they?

And... did it just use those weird tails to knock out the... [He takes a second to remember the name he got from Green.] Sneasel?

Whoa, Katara, look at his new one! It looks like a crow with a hat! Oh... it's taken down the monkey [Already forgotten the name Green gave him...] already.
