Summary: Let's get gardening! The Memory Garden needs a little fixing up after the winter/spring. Will you come to help? Refreshments are provided!

[Are you ready to garden? The memory garden needs your help, with weeding, watering, tidying, raking, fertilizing, pruning, trimming, expanding beds, edging borders, transplanting, and planting. Which job will you take?

When you're feeling tired and hungry, delicious refreshments have been provided. Go ahead, have a snack!

Grune will be around for...most of the day. It would be all day, but occasionally she'll forget what she's doing and wander away. She'll always come back, though!

When she's around, she'll alternate between looking after the garden and saying hello. She's so glad you came, each and every one of you!]

[OOC: I am so sorry for dropping off the face of Luceti this week, everyone. Work basically went, "Oh hey, Vyc is planning to host a mini-event this week? Awesome! This is the perfect time to go haywire!" And it promptly did.

"I like your name," Rue replies with a happy smile. It's like the names back in District Eleven, mostly based off flowers or agriculture.

She watches Daisy pull some weeds before nodding in agreement. "If you pull the weeds, I can begin digging holes for the seeds. Then we can both plants seeds and cover up the holes."

She smiles with a blush that shrinks her -just- a little. She remembers the first time she told some people her name, complimenting it... One even hugged her for it.

"Thank you." She sets her sight back on the dirt. "I'll get the weeds out in a second. Won't take too long, I want to seed a few of them."

In slight pulls, she gets to extract the weeds to get them to her side quickly. It won't be long before their side is clear for seeding.

"Something I don't really know... How long do they take to grow? I..." Didn't plant or arrange flowers for years until Luceti. "It's been a while since I've done something like this."

As Daisy pulls weeds, Rue digs out little sections for the seeds, making sure to keep them a few inches apart from each other to give them space to grow.

"These grow pretty fast, we should see them by the summer! They're very easy to grow." She hands a packet of seeds out to Daisy.

"All you have to do is sprinkle some of the seeds onto the ground, then cover them with a light layer of dirt. Then give them some water to keep the ground moist."

"By summer? Is it true?" She smiles... The way to plant them looks easy enough. When she is given the seeds, and upon observing the slight cover of ground, she follows suit.

It's a curious thing, the dirt. Soft, malleable, but it remains on her fingers. Even as she puts water in it, she keeps staring at her hand...

... Interesting.

She turns to Rue.

"You have a past back home with gardening?"

"We grow lots of food and crops back where I'm from. Some flowers too, though usually the ones that are good if you're sick or hurt. But we grow some pretty flowers too since we have lots of good weather." Rue talks happily about her home, trying to focus on all the nice parts of District Eleven.

"Everyone has to work out in the field. Kids are usually out in the orchard since we can climb real high without damaging the branches."

It reminds her a little of what Harvest was before the Covenant, when it was a 'breadbasket' world with the massive city of Utgard.

"... Just be careful when you do it." Hypocrite. To say Daisy used to do more dangerous things at Rue's age is an understatement. "I've heard of planets in my world that are dedicated to the same, but... You're young. What's the name of your world? Or planet?"

Or place, really.
