I'm over the moon

Who: All draftees
What: Arriving on The Liberator and preparing for battle
When: Today, from 9AM to 3PM
Where: SPAAAACE
Summary: The draftees are in space! On a ship! IN SPACE! SPACE!
Rating: SPACE

SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!!

But no really. The draftees are in space. The mod post about it is here, so familiarize yourself with the details. This log is for general interactions, where you can tag around as your characters familiarize themselves with the ship, look out the windows, try on their space suits, and run simulations for the Tyr-Fighters. (Among other things.)

Specialist Davis can be encountered and will have a thread available on the log to talk to him on.

Sort of. Operated plenty'a airboats back home, but they ain't the same t'ing.

[Remy eases away from the wall.]

Then again, I've flown a couple jets, but I ain't any kind'a expert. ["Flown" sounds so much better than "stolen", doesn't it.]

Well, flying a jet of any kind is better experience than most people here have. At least you already know the basics, then.

Fortunately, these Tyr-Fighters operate a lot like an atmospheric craft, so it shouldn't be too hard for you to get adjusted.

[He nods at the explanation. Most likely not too hard to pick up on. Easier than hijacking any of the X-Jets, at least (not that he has, but planning ahead never hurts). Stick to basics, should be fine.

But he can't resist a joke.]

Don't tell me they ain't got warp-speed or laser cannons. That'd ruin all the fun.
