A half-monster, huh? Guess that makes his job pretty easy. [Chien's the only thing that could be considered a "half-monster" and none of the villagers want to deal with him. Or if they do, it's only to kill.]

But how'd they learn to accept each other?

Pretty sure he just asked them. They all like him. ...Most of the humans didn't know what he was until he showed them in front of the Univir.
