But no really. The draftees are in space. The mod post about it is here, so familiarize yourself with the details. [Huzzah! Sadly Yotsuba is lacking any proper way of retaining information so the next time they meet 'Canti' might have become 'Mister Robo Canto', but she'll try her best to remember his name all the same.]

Now we know each others names Yotsuba will give you a tour of the house! [This cafeteria? Her house.] This is the front door, welcome welcome! [Pointing off down the table and to a few other tables and chairs in the room.] That's the hall, and then over there is the kitchen where we make yummy food and the place were Yotsuba sleeps and plays with blocks.

[Ah, she's playing pretend. Canti can roll with that. He stoops slightly under the "doors" as he follows her on the tour. It's a very well equipped house, though it doesn't seem to have a bathroom. Hopefully that won't become a problem.]

[For now she seems to have completely forgotten about equipping her new home with a bathroom. Who even needs one of those anyway, gosh.

She walks up to another table and takes a seat at it.] This is the kotatsu and it's really warm. Aaaah, all of Yotsuba's worries are melting away. [...] You can eat persimmons and tangerines and stuff when you sit under it!

[Oh gosh a kotatsu in space sounds awesome.

Canti also takes a seat under the "kotatsu." It's not really warm, but that's ok. His worries won't melt away quite so easily, but he'll deal with them as they come. Also, he can't really feel warmth.]

[That makes it a spacetatsu.

Since this isn't a proper kotatsu and it's just a cafeteria table the warmth will sadly have to be imaginary. But even just thinking of warm things can help warm you up, it's working just fine for Yotsuba at any rate.]

It's so warm that Yotsuba is going to take a nap. [Resting her head on the table with a happy sigh... And then springing back up!] But there's no time for naps! Yotsuba might catch a cold, and then we can't go into space!

[Spacetatsu!!! Let's put one in the ISS.

Imaginary heat or not, Yotsuba probably won't catch a cold from sleeping on a cafeteria table. But there probably isn't time for naps, that much is true; there's a lot to do before they land. Canti acknowledges that with a nod.]

[No time for naps, plenty of time to play house.]

Over there is... The pool! [She's playing pretend. She wants a pool. Her imaginary house can have a pool if she wants one!] You have to dive in and splash around like you do when you go to the pool. If you can't swim then Yotsuba can teach you!

[Running over to another table and flopping on top of it. Time to kick her legs like crazy. This is how the real pros swim!]

[As opposed to napping and playing house, swimming can be dangerous to your health. But that's not why Canti can't swim; he can't swim because he's made of metal. And electrical. This kind of swimming doesn't involve water, but he doesn't want to see the table collapse. Instead, he sits in a nearby chair to be the lifeguard.]

[Swim swim swim... Why isn't Mister Robo Canto joining her? You're missing out man, it's nearly summer. It's times like this when you're meant to swim.]

Come on n, the water's great! It's a pass!

[Slapping the table top with her palm as though she's splashing around. It's not like she's going to drown anyway, be it swimming in a pool, the sea or on a table.]

[No, he can't. The fact that he can't swim is moot, but his weight still might be enough to break the table. Instead of joining her, he pantomimes blowing a whistle while displaying a whistle on his screen. Hopefully, that will be enough to tell her he's being a life guard.]

[Blink. Oh yes, she knows what a life guard is. But Canti doesn't have a big chair to sit in so the entire image is ruining.

That's a nice looking whistle though!

Yotsuba flops over onto her side so she can stare at the screen whilst waving one arm and leg in the air as though she's still swimming. This is a new kind of swimming, the Yotsustroke.]

There's a whistle on your face.

[Yes. Yes there is. He nods his concession to that fact. Said whistle vanishes a moment later, because even in space it's important to preserve power and prevent burn-in. Because there are few things more awkward than having a whistle emblazoned on your face for all eternity.]

[And now it's gone. Well that's interesting. Since her arm is getting tired she rests it down on the table whilst her leg keeps kicking. This still counts as swimming.]

Ohhh, can you do other stuff too? Yotsuba wants to see a cicada.

[Cicada? How oddly specific. But he knows what they look like, so yes. He can do that. This appears on his display.]

Cicada!!

[This makes her very happy. Spinning in the table she shuffles over and pushes her face right up to his screen and stares at the cicada on screen.]

It's a cicada, whoaaah!

[That can't be good for her eyes. For that reason, Canti backs off slightly. Once he's regained his personal space, he extends one hand in a "stay back" gesture. Can't have her ruining her vision.]

[... Okay. She'll stay where she and watch from a safe, less eye damaging distance.

It's like she's watching TV. Expect someone paused the video she was watching and now nothing is happening.]

Press play. Please.

[Well, he doeas have a good cicada video... only one and it's kind of short, but still. His screen blacks out, and a short video plays.]

[Cicadaaa. Cicadaaa!]

Bweeeeee! Bwee bweeeeeeee!

[That is her best impression of the sound cicadas make. She even tries timing her own cicada impression with the one on screen.]

Can you hear the cicadas too?! Bweeeeee!

[He's cheating by looping the video, but it's not that noticeable. At her question, though, he pauses it to nod. Yes, he can hear the cicada. Which is surprising, because he thought his speakers were offline.]

[Eventually her throat starts to feel sore from all the bwee-ing so she stops her cicada impression for now and settles for just watching the adorable bug in all its cicada glory.

After some time she does end up noticing something about the video.]

Is the cicada going to move?

[It's just sitting there. Making noise. Isn't it going to fly away or bring along more of its cicada friends?]

[Ah, the one flaw in his plan. How to correct for this... As this loop ends, he freezes the video and shrinks it so it only fills a quarter of the screen.]

That is the end. [Not technically a lie. It's just the sixth time he's shown the end.]

She starts clapping her hands to applaud the cicada, but she feels a little cheaped out since it was just the one cicada.

But at least one cicada was better then no cicada at all!]

[He doesn't have much data on cicadas, or he would have provided a better video. But the applause is still nice! Clearing his screen, Canti stands and takes a bow before sitting down again.]
