[Tis a mingling post. Mingle!  Seriously. The orchard's lit up, there is alcohol, there are snacks, there are mikan. There's also piles of coloured paper for much later, but that's another story.

[As if Zoro couldn't not attend. He'll be wandering around the orchard, slightly drunk and grumpy and looking maybe, just a little, out of sorts with his new body. But surely that's just a trick of the sun. Zoro, uncomfortable? Never.

At some point he'll try (and fail) to make some paper pinwheels, then he'll go off to bother some people. Feel free to return the favor.]

[She actually. Kind of feels sorry for you, Zoro. Well, now that she's gotten used to how different you look. It's not even the unattractive part (that's actually kind of relieving in a way for really disturbing reasons just shhh), it's the fact that this new body is so very clearly unfit. Must be a real pain in the ass.

It's okay, she'll just wait for him to inevitably get lost somewhere in the trees and then go find him with a bottle of sake :Db]

[He'll be moping pretending not to be lost sitting under a tree, staring at his hands when Nami finally catches up to him. His senses not as finely honed in this strange new body, he won't notice her until she's within his line of sight.]

[Nami will very kindly tromp up to him and offer him booze to drown his sorrows by thunking it lightly against the side of his head.] Here. I'm curious to see whether you can still hold your liquor in that thing.

[Well, why beat around the bush about it :|]

Hn. [His expression is less than appreciative but he takes the bottle anyway.] Guess it's worth a try.

[He doesn't invite her to sit, but he doesn't try to chase her away either. Moody swordsman is slightly moody.]

[What she really means is here, you look like you need this more than anyone else at the damn party. But that would be both (a) admitting she feels bad about it and (b) showing pity, so instead, she just flops down on the grass across from him and holds out a mug.]

Fill her up first.

[He does. It's your party, you can cry make demands if you want to. Not that you don't on a normal day.

After he's done with that he takes a long, hard swig of sake. It burns on its way down and causes him to cough and choke. God. Damnit. This is getting depressing.]

[She watches you for a while and waits until you cross near her perch before saying:]

Something looks different about you.

You sure about that?

[toujoursfluer]

I'm sure. Though I can't imagine what it is.

I think you're seeing things.

[Oh, she's seeing a lot.]

My mistake. [She takes a sip and wonders about it. Is it a pride thing or has his memory been altered somehow? Well, she supposes ultimately it doesn't matter. The effects will reverse eventually.]

Been up to anything interesting lately?

[concasse]

[Not female.

It's the first thought Sanji holds when he passes the green-haired monstrosity - and let's be honest, that's the only thought that matters to the chef - but then he double-takes and chokes on his glass of wine when suddenly compelled to take a closer look.

Dear gods, it's hideous. And it looks like Zoro.

... It's more hideous than Zoro.]

[Oh, JOY. This can only end in tears.]

The hell're you looking at, chef?

[concasse]

[No, the better question is:] Who the hell are you?

[... Oh god] Zoro? [Only one asshole regularly calls him by that name]

[Vein throb. Good lord, why did he have to stop in the first place? Zoro's not stupid, he knows where this is going. Nervous sweat beading on his forehead, he turns on his heel and tries to silently head back the way he came.]

[concasse]

Oi! Just a-- [Oh no no no, he doesn't get to escape that easily. Sanji stalks after, torn between gut-splitting laughter and honest concern that the Malnosso apparently decided the swordsman needed a face lift... and twice the amount of body fat. Among other things. Yeesh.]

...

At least they got your hair right. [Does he get points for compassion yet?]

[Sabo's passing by with an armload of colorful paper. But then, he double-takes at that shock of green hair.]

Zoro?!!

[Oh. Wrong person. Sabo distinctly remembers Zoro has a neck.]

Ah, sorry, mister. Thought you're someone else...

[He thinks of keeping his mouth shut and letting Sabo run off but a small, slightly insane part of him decides to call out:]

No, ah. I'm... Zoro. What is it?

[sailedfirst]

[Eh?! Zoro looks nothing like this guy. Except for the green hair that is; that one's uncannily alike. But he's got the earrings, and the three swords...

Frowning.] ...Swordsman of the Strawhat Pirates who likes booze and always hopelessly lost, Roronoa Zoro? ...That's you?

... yes.

[There's a small stab of guilt in Sabo's heart, but he has no idea where the hell that came from so he'll just ignore it.]

Oh. Okay. Can I join you? [Whatever your answer is, you have gained one (1) mini pirate for company, Zoro.]

[At some point, he will be found by a sugared-up six-year-old.]

Zoro! Hi! Did you just get here? Did you have any birthday cake yet?]

[Well, don't you look... happy. He shakes his head at her latter question.] I don't like sweet things.

[How can you...not like sweet things. This flies in the face of all human logic.]

But it's Nami's birthday! You have to have some!
