[Tis a mingling post. Mingle! Seriously. The orchard's lit up, there is alcohol, there are snacks, there are mikan. There's also piles of coloured paper for much later, but that's another story.

[Ah. He gets that a lot, doesn't he. Sabo doesn't mind though.]

Yep, that's me! Ah, though I'm kinda ten years behind Ace and Luffy in this place. [That's what you're asking, right?]

Wait, so you three grew up together? Brothers? I mean as kids? [WE'RE JUST TRYING TO MAKE SURE WE UNDERSTAND HERE. Note to self: punching Luffy may be in the cards.]

Well, I've known Ace since we're both five. Then we met Luffy almost a year ago. Stuff happened, and we've been brothers ever since! [That weird, sad smile he has earlier returns briefly.] They did more growing up together than me, those two.

[...

...yeah, she has a bad feeling about this.]

Luffy has a bad habit of not telling me he has brothers, you know. But it's nice to meet you. Thanks for coming.

Eh, but I ate first without you knowing me yet, so it's me who gotta thank you. [He even takes off his hat and offers a small bow of his head. Because manners, he knows them.

Plonking his hat back.] So Ace too, huh? I heard you guys got to meet him as an adult. [Laughing.] Must be shocking to see them so different, huh?!

It really was. [Her eyebrows raise at the doffing of the hat, but Nami smiles.] I think the whole crew was staring. Frankly I'm amazed how the two of you have such good manners and Luffy just fails on every level there.

[Laughing even harder.] Oh, Ace is just as rude as Luffy when he was a kid! Even worse, actually. He used to spit on people he doesn't like at first, Luffy included!

[Snerk.] Is that so? You'd never think it now. How come he didn't like Luffy?

[Not that she detects ways to embarrass Ace and/or her captair or anything.

...okay, just Ace. Luffy is unembarassable.]

Because Luffy's a clingy, annoying, noisy crybaby when we met him, and Ace hated that kind the most.

[Yep, this kid is a fountain of embarrassing childhood stories about those two. Especially Ace's; Luffy's, he just considers as part of being a baby still.]

[Oh god, she's actually startled into laughter at that.] Seriously? Well, he seems to have adopted Ace's views on that as an adult. Or as much of an adult as Luffy can be, anyway.

[Grins.] Somehow, I'm not surprised! He always did his best to stop crying whenever Ace gets pissed at him. I guess since it made him a lot stronger, he's now using it to help others too.

Mind you, he still whines about food and boredom a lot. But I'll have to remember that next time.

[Which implies he's probably told Nami to stop whining once or twice >.> Look, in her defence, Eneru was scary okay.]

[And he's off laughing again.] It'll be way too creepy if he didn't!

[He doesn't get it, so your secret's safe!]

[Excellent. *_*]

So anything else embarrassing you can tell me about your two big brothers?

Hey, Ace is only three months older than me. And Luffy's certainly not my big brother! No way. Not when he's still shoving chopsticks up his nose!

[Yes, he's supposed to be way older than even you, Nami.]

[LOL whoops, stumbled onto some pride there. >_> That's okay, Nami just grins.] Well, I kind of meant in terms of height. So far you seem more mature than the both of them put together.

[Grumble, grumble.] I'm gonna grow taller than those two...

[Sighs.] One of us gotta be one. We can't all be reckless and stupid all at once. Someone always ends up getting almost killed when we did, and it's usually Luffy.

Imagine that. Now that he's older he's still reckless and stupid and we're the ones who nearly get killed as a result. [So deadpan. But really, it's clear she's pretty fond of him anyway.]

[Yep, he noticed that one. So he's just going to laugh again.] You must have a lot of crazy adventures, huh?! I bet he chooses where to go all the time. The more dangerous, the better. Or something like that!

Hah! You know him very well, I see. Yep, Luffy goes where he pleases. Too bad for the rest of us.
