[Tis a mingling post. Mingle! Seriously. The orchard's lit up, there is alcohol, there are snacks, there are mikan. There's also piles of coloured paper for much later, but that's another story.

There's no way I could tell you! It's not exactly a hobby of someone from the trash heap, right?! It'll ruin my cover. [Grinning, remembering that story he weaved on that first day.] And then Luffy joined us, and we had so much fun everyday, I didn't need any other hobbies than hanging out with you two.

[Ace's eyes brighten up at that. Aaah, the good old days.]

That was one hell of a story you made up. It was kinda shit at first, I hope you know. [Oh, stupid brother. He just ruffles your head at that.] You can bet Luffy and I felt the same.

Oi, oi. That story's entirely believable! I even made sure I got my facts straight and all. And you believed it, didn't you?! [He scowls a bit from the ruffle, but really that happy smile doesn't help with that at all.]

Yeah, but you have no idea how skeptical I was! Damn, you really didn't sound like someone from the trash heap.

Well how should I know?! You're skeptical with everything I said back then! [So much grumbling here because eff u man, he's totally a trash kid.] Tch, no one else complained.

Hey, I was skeptical at all the right times! [..... Fff-- Okay. Fine, he'll just laugh and shake his head. Yeah he was terrible at acting in the early days.] That bad, huh?!

[Beaming.] It might be weird for other people to take so much pride at that, but... Hell yeah, that's what I am!

Ah, well. I survived to meet you, didn't I? That's good enough! Though... there's that time with the crazy butcher in Edge Town... [Grimaces.] That one's a close call.

[Elbow nudge.] You know I could say the same about you, right?

Damn good enough to me. [He shudders.] That was... yeah, really close.

[Grins!] And I'd take it as a compliment.
