Summary: An impromptu last minute stubborn celebration of something that's fun.

[Tis a mingling post. Mingle! Seriously. The orchard's lit up, there is alcohol, there are snacks, there are mikan. There's also piles of coloured paper for much later, but that's another story.

Ah! Well, you're halfway there. You need to meet Robin and Chopper-- you can't miss them. Robin's the tall woman with the long dark hair and Chopper is the reindeer.

Oh, Chopper - that's right, Katara's mentioned him. I think I have a good idea of what to look for. [And he'll find them in those other threads...] And that's all of you who are here?

Ahh... there's Zoro as well. He's the guy with the green hair you'll see floating around. [She looks thoughtful.] For the record, he just came back from a kidnapping this morning. He doesn't normally look the way he does right now.

Zoro, huh? I'll look out for him. How does he normally look?

Same green hair. More like he can actually kill you with three swords instead of fall on them accidentally.

Oh. So... he's a sword guy. But... why three?

He's the world's only practitioner of Santoryu - three sword style. [She taps her teeth briefly.] He holds one in his mouth.

[He laughs as he tries to imagine it. Since Zuko already has two swords, he imagines him trying to hold a sword in his mouth.]

That sounds pretty cool. But teeth aren't hands!

No, but he's got a surprisingly good grip with his ...teeth. [This is going into weird territory. Er.]

That must take a lot of skill. I bet he takes real good care of his teeth!

If constant drinking and snoring is good oral hygiene, sure.

That must be pretty weird to you. [Says the guy oblivious to the fact that Katara might share that sentiment.] But it can't hurt to have fun with them sometimes!

No, there is that. And they're good guys when you need them to be. You just have to kinda keep them on a leash the rest of the time.

I guess a little restraint can't hurt. [Says the guy who's known his granddaughter for just a day and has been pumping both of them with sugar.]
