Prescribed Recreation: Take 2 – Electric Boogaloo.
Who: House 44 and Friends, Friends of Friends, or whoever wanders on in
What: A small shindig, nice and casual
When: Evening of the eleventh.
Where: On the beach!
Summary: After the storm, the draft, the beginning of the cycle, and other bits of stress that needed alleviating, the members of House 44 gather firewood, beverages, and food to roast for a small party down on the beach.
Rating: PG-13 for possible adult language
It's a modest affair. Coolers full of beer, soda, or iced tea, one separate of food to be roasted in the embers of the bonfire later that night, towels, chairs, firewood from the fallen tree limbs that Adele and Sabriel had saved up, a few folding tables, and a guitar Adele found to pick at since she didn't want to bring out her laptop or record player for music. It's warm and sunny- hotter than it'd been the week before but with the breeze from the ocean it was more than ideal. Invitations and offers had been made quietly in the few days prior or this morning, and now that everything's set up all there is to do is relax, wait for dusk, and start up the bonfire.
(ooc: Anyone's welcome to swing on in and enjoy the party, mingle, or just sit and watch the waves. Last chronological thread will have Adele Mallynaped and will be locked to Obi-Wan. Have fun!)

But that smirk--it was better to see than that concern from earlier, and the strange ferocity. He might have to continue teasing, just to see it more often.]

You thought this weekend was bad? Wait until you see what I have in store for later.

[She gives that detail a moment to sink in.]
