He's a little strict, but some cookies would be allowed. [He bit into another cookie.] I might have let them have a few too many sweets before he arrived here.

[Sokka looks warily up at the sky.]

[At least it's not too hard to get to the door. And when they do, Sokka will hold out his hand for her to take. No getting separated.]

Day 4

It's wha- a squid?

[Frowning, Sabriel tenses her grip to try and follow Viral's tug up/downwards, even giving a little hop to try and push past that strange feeling of an invisible buffer. If only the odd bout of levitation would kick in, then he'd be free to pull her down from the ceiling...

...Damn, looks like the Shift wasn't taking the hint.]

[She remembers being really drunk and not-so-subtly flirty and probably making a fool of herself. But she smiles anyway.] Yeah, long time no see.

I'll forgive you for scaring the crap out of me, just because I know you didn't really want to end up here. [Plus she probably owes him an apology from when they met, except she won't say that part.]

Day 4

You... can't? But what could you be doing that's more important than tea?

[She takes his hand.]

All right, let's do this.

Time to find another door. Preferably one that's our size.

[He starts to walk along the edge they're on. And there is, indeed, a crack leading inside. He wonders if this will count.]

No problem... I know it's been hell just trying to walk from one room to another. Can't say I've ended up in any fridges yet, though.

[Inside they go! INTO A WORLD OF NORMAL SIZED THINGS.

... or not. The door shuts behind them and there's the distinct sound of it LOCKING. They're inside a dark room. With no light of any kind. Sokka conjures up some Hyt magic to illuminate what looks like a cave of some kind. Another door on the far side. Also locked. Other stuff as well, but he's not focused on that.]

Okay. Our luck keeps getting worse.

August 2nd

[Glancing up- er, or rather, down, Sabriel blinks at her friend in surprise and sighs, dragging a striped purple hand down her face.]

Day 4

I've killed it before, and it comes back. Like Simon, only with tentacles instead of a drill. [He's more amused by the challenge of it than he lets on.

Gravity doesn't reorient for him either, and his feet stay firmly planted on the ground despite their attempts. It must have been his inherent lack of Spiral Power when compared to the general population--or the Malnosso just found it funnier to have him play the 'straight man' as Arata tried to explain to him.

The kid didn't appreciate his dead grapehippo jokes.]

Sabriel. [He glanced up at her, mildly.] Try jumping.

Day 3

[He tears his eyes away from the ceiling to address Marko seriously, as if they were talking about an unrequited love.]

That's really sad. But there's a hat out there for everyone. I just know it. [His face brightens as he sips the tea; satisfying him isn't very hard with the hat as long as it's some type of tea.] It's very weird, has an odd tangy taste unlike any tea I've had... but I love it!

While it's not my intention to offend, you're right about this not being my desired destination. [...though Misato is much more pleasant when she's not drunk. Kratos is finding that he doesn't mind this too much, but it does still bother him to a certain extent.]

[Katara drops his hand and makes her way over to the wall, banging on it with her knuckles. The sting of thick metal greets her.]

It's metal. Cutting our way out with just what I have in the waterskin would take hours.

[She glanced over at him.]

[He touches the wall and widens the crack so they can enter. Aang grabs onto Sokka's arm and tugs him in.]

Umm.... [Give her a minute, she'll think of something. Unfortunately, she's not used to turning down Aang, and that's working against her right now.]

Well I know Toph didn't make this thing out of metal. [Or. He assumes anyway. It's possible his sword could cut through it, but...]

There's another door ahead. We just have to figure out how to open it.

[There's unlit torches sitting here, so Sokka is going to light them up and hand one to Katara to hold. Constantly using filial magic is a sure fire way to exhaust him.]

[THUD. The entryway they entered is suddenly sealed shut by a falling door. And they enter a pitch black room.]

Day 6

[It happened again, didn't it? One moment she's glancing through the doorway to one of the shops and upon passing through it she finds herself staring at a familiar face.]
