[He took a second to examine where he was and then, processing what Shiki said, he shrugged sheepishly.]

I guess so! I've been through a few houses now. Sorry to barge in like this.

[ She looked at him strangely when he apologize. ]

Don't be sorry. It's no big deal. [ Better than a half naked woman. ] Where were you trying to go?

[He gives a light-hearted shrug.]

I was just trying to find my son's house. Or anywhere I recognize.

Oh. [ ...Son? But he looked...no, you know what. This is Luceti. She gave up on normal things happening here a long time ago. She looked thoughtful for a moment, before turning and reaching under her bed, pulling out a plastic bag. He was already here. She'd let him go, but first. ]

Want some snacks? [ She didn't eat them enough anyway. And he looked like the kind of guy who would like cookies and chips. ]

Sure, thanks! [He eagerly draws near. Only meat's off-limits in his diet, so he still likes to indulge in sweets.]

[ She smiled, as she reached out of the bag with a pack of sugar cookies and chips. ]

I don't really eat a lot of these, I don't know why I have them. You're already here, so might as well.

[He relinquished the pack and started chewing on the sugar cookie.]

It's still real kind of you. My name's Aang, by the way.

Shiki. [ She replied, taking a cookie for herself. Though, she spared a moment to ask a question before taking a bite. ]

You said you had a son. How? [ And with that, she bite into the cookie. ]

Nice to meet you, Shiki. [He gulped down some cookie before continuing.] Well... he's not really my son yet. He's from the future. And he's... really old.

...[ A stifled chuckle. ]

He probably looks like he could be your dad, huh?

[Aang gives a nervous chuckle, a bit uncomfortable remembering his similar first thought when he first saw Tenzin over the journals.]

Yeah, he kinda does. At least his daughters are still younger than me.

Oh? [ And his son had daughters? That's a whole family. ]

Kind of lucky, though, right? That you get to see your grandkids.

Yeah, it is really nice. I'm really glad that I'm able to meet them. They're really great.

[ She nodded, giving a small smile. ]

Do you think your son would allow them to have some cookies too? [ She said, as she took another one from the bag. ]

He's a little strict, but some cookies would be allowed. [He bit into another cookie.] I might have let them have a few too many sweets before he arrived here.

I can't understand that. [ She said with a nod, cookie still in her mouth, as she handed the bag to him. ] I don't use them, so you can have them. ]

Glad you didn't at least come through my bathroom or window, like other people.

[He accepts the bag with a smile.]

Thanks. ...Wow, have you been getting a lot of visitors like that? Sounds weird.

[ She nodded. ] Yeah. Everyone's been running in here for one reason or another. [ She wasn't even annoyed by it, but, considering her room was normally empty, it sure was...weird. ]

Sorry. That must make it hard to find privacy.

Hm? [ It's not like she really needed it. ] It's no problem, really. I was just reading most of today. I thought it'd be a good day to read, but it really isn't.

I've been trying to read more often because of my oldest granddaughter. I'm sorry that your reading is being interrupted. What kinds of books do you read?

It's not a problem. [ At least this boy was nice enough to apologize. ]

I read anything, really. I've been trying some mystery lately. My friend goes to the library a lot, so she helped me pick. [ It's not like she did much aside from sit in her room, anyway. ]

I don't think I have any preferences either! But I do like solving mysteries, so maybe I should try some of those! Do you have any recommendations?

Hmm. Not off the top of my head, but...I could always look for something you'd like next time I go to the library. [ Which was often. ]

You should probably go now. You're son might be worried.
