[His eyes turn down in concentration and he begins casting.] Air Thrust.

The bad news is that Mithos' little spell cut more than what was keeping her suspended to his ceiling--her jacket and shorts are torn in various areas.] What made you think that was a good idea?! [Covering herself subconsciously. Also ow, landing on the floor hurt.]

I wouldn't exactly call what you did 'helping.' [Unamused.] Destroying my clothes wasn't a bright idea, either. I can't exactly go back to my apartment looking like this!

Because you're the reason my clothes are like this! If you do something, you should take responsibility for your actions!

[Haha good joke, Utena.] Allow me to rephrase my question. Why should I care?

That was a rhetorical question. You humans really are stupid. [He takes a step toward her, planning to herd her toward the door.]

You don't know anything about me, either! And I don't have to know anything about you to know that if you push everyone away, you're not going to have anyone to help you when you need it! You can't possibly enjoy living your life like this!

[But if he wants her to leave so badly, fine. Don't bother herding her toward the door, Mithos, because she's exiting herself. Why does that boy have to be so stubborn? maybe he's a type b like nanami and utena herself]

[...except the moment she leaves, she finds herself crashing through Mithos' ceiling again, this time landing on the bed and bouncing off of it. Thankfully, she manages to tuck herself into a ball before hitting the bed, so that collision and the following collision with the floor aren't as bad as they could be.] Damnit--!

[Utena is very fortunate she didn't break anything. Anything that belongs to Mithos, that is, like a set of delicate, ancient panpipes belonging to his dearly departed sister. He couldn't care less if she happened to break an arm or a leg, aside from the extended inconvenience of her presence he would be burdened with. He side-steps out of her way, glaring down at her in disdain.

Only her final words needle beneath his skin - you can't enjoy living your life like this. He knows. He doesn't. He scrapes along and watches the days pass by him, only waning, rarely waxing. She won't know, though. He looms over her.]

How arrogant, to make such assumptions. Why would I want help from creatures I don't even trust? [He has Sayo. He has Kaori. He isn't alone. He reminds himself of this every day.]

[She looks up at him, matching his glare.]

You're the one that's arrogant, acting like you're above everyone else!

I don't have to act like I'm above you - I am above you. [See, you can't even get close enough to make a scratch. Just give up and go away.]

That's exactly it! You're not above all of us. What gives you the right to even think that?!

Do I not deserve one thing humans can't take away from me? [His careful defenses, in a way given to him by humans through the hatred they ignited inside him.]

Not every human in existence is wrong! I don't even know what you are, and it doesn't matter to me, but you can't treat the humans who didn't take anything from you like this! It's not what you're born as that makes the difference, it's your actions!

[He really isn't in the mood for this. He isn't going to tolerate the recycled squawking of a human in his damned bedroom, especially not when he was in the middle of sacred Martel-related business moments before.]
