[Such drops had not been unusual as of late. While the anti-vertigo medication helped, it also shut down the reactions of his vestibular system--thus not helping the core problem of his balance. Normally he was able to stay upright using visual and tactile cues, but moments of stress, fatigue, or his own flakiness didn't aid the seemingly random falls. He had kept it quiet from his housemates, but suspected that they knew. It was likely the reason he was still under 'house arrest.'

Lupin sat up, looking vaguely stunned.]

I'm fine, I think. Would you believe me if I said that it didn't hurt at all?

[It just felt like he was suddenly pushed, as if the strings holding him up had been suddenly cut. There was no migraine, no vertigo, no aura...there was just nothing.]

[She turns to slowly let Keimi back in the tub. Poor girl must be colder than Daisy is. Even if the mermaid may have been her only cover.

Even then, she keeps a hand over the mermaid's shoulder. But for now, she doesn't take her eyes off Lupin. Something is wrong.]

[He looked up and locked his gaze on Daisy's, ignoring her obvious nakedness in favor of the important details. She was there in the room above during his first week back, when he still lived in Community House 5. With the bugs that littered the building and her tech, it was possible that she had seen his difficulties in maneuvering. Even if she didn't, she would have noticed the drastic drop in activity levels and heard a good few crashes over the first few days as he adjusted.

The subtle concern in her voice on that first day still was evident in his memory. He only hoped that he hadn't missed his mark on this.]

Remember our conversation back in June, Daisy? At the end of the month?

...Whatever you suspect, you're right.

[Daisy stays silent for a moment. She immediately understands.

The infiltration. The week-long delay. The lasting disabilities.

While there is the slightest revelation of worry once Lupin mentions a truth only the two of them know, her voice remains solid. She walks towards one of the towels, only barely covering her heroic figure.]

Then you should be in bed, in your room.

[Keimi pokes her head from the side of the tub, doing her best to conceal her naked body.]

I-is Lupin-chin sick? Is it the teleporting? I can make some soup, if you like...

Remember a few weeks ago when I said that the Mosso's got me, Keimi-chan?

[He didn't want to tell her the whole truth, but she knew part of it...]

The effect hasn't left yet, and the teleporting hasn't been helping. Daisy, I appreciate the concern, but we both know that just isn't possible.

... Then stay here as long as you need. Don't push yourself too much. Keimi and I are going to help you through.

[She helps Keimi up from the bath, then holds Lupin's shoulder with some force, but not unlike that of a mother concerned for her child, as she directs him to bed.]

[Keimi hesitates for a moment. She doesn't exactly want to get out of the tub and continue revealing herself, but at with Daisy's assurance, she reluctantly allows herself to be lifted out.]

L-let me get some clothes on, and I'll start on some food, okay?

[No worries, Keimi. Lupin likes you too much to oogle you. Lupin accepts the assist without much complaint for once, knowing full well just how tired he was...

Ah, Daisy, I'm--

[For once, they make it through to the other side without a problem. Lupin heaves a sigh of relief at this, and sags a little in Daisy's grip.]

Thanks I am being careful, but you know how this place is.

Take your time on the food, Keimi-chan. Just get comfy...I think I might want a nap.

[Daisy immediately wraps Keimi in her own towel, ignoring how she's no longer covered herself. As for Lupin, he directs him towards her bed... Towards the two bunks put together to make up for Daisy's massive body.

She looks down at her floor. Water puddles.]

... There's also water. If you dare getting up you'll hurt yourself.
