Player Event - Chaos Plot

Who: Helios and pretty much everyone who replied to this post
What: The demon god Apep which affixed itself to Helios’ soul has awoken.
When: August 6th-9th
Where: Starting around house 44 then mainly around town and the woods
Summary: Basically Helios gets possessed and causes all sorts of chaos and destruction that the evil god, Apep, is known for causing!
Rating: R for lots of violence



[ It’s strange how the twist of events of a simple evening walk could change much of everything. In an instant, that was Luceti’s way of things, changing things in an instant. And Helios never even saw it coming. There were still parts of that night and parts of his soul that he never truly understood. But there were always ways of finding out. They say hands on experience is one of the best ways of learning. And this is a lesson he and several others won't soon forget. ]

[He was the only one in the enclosure that matched Saori's description- but why would he help Apep? Why would he be involved at all? She doesn't remember enough or know enough of the man to clearly say but...if his mind had been pressed upon as hers was that might explain things.]

He's often volatile, and occasionally vulgar, but violent? Not in my experience with him.

[She traces a finger along her cheek, indicating a pencil thin red line that was already knitting shut]

And he's unconscious on the street.

We'll need to contain him or avoid him somehow, if he's a threat. [Although Isaac was a stranger to him, he would rather not deal with another overpowered madman.]

Rope holds him well enough. When he appeared for a second time in the village he was bound to a large wooden stake in the ground and was unable to free himself.

Better to chain him, and his hands as well. Even then, I know not what he needs to summon his pets to free him. Best to leave him be, his body is not unscathed.

All right then, we'll just take the long way.

Adele: first thing, we need to get my guns, check on Artoo and Shepard. We're also going to need to drop by the clinic for that sling and anti-inflammatories.

Then, we get onto the research.

And my home as well. My sword is there, as is Luminair. The cats have most likely run off for the moment- but I do need to check.

[Sword. Dragon. She'd tempted by the thought of alcohol but knows it'll help nothing. Tempted even more still by those vials in her briefcase- and shuts that line of thought off immediately. That will not help anyone here.

She adjusts her grip on Lupin and offers the closest thing she can manage to a grateful smile to Saori.]

You will have ample opportunity to repay me in the future. I will need help when this is done.

[She can feel her anima already depleted, and the ritual to bind and seal another god is an intense experience that will use the last of her magic for a time. She's going to need to anchor herself.]
