Who: Luce [personal profile] inheavenslight and YOU
What: Its the 11th, do you know where your local 30-something manchild is?
When: The 11th
Where: All over town
Summary: Luce is meandering about the town, he is trying to learn about it and adapt. But this is him we're talking about.
Rating: PG-13
The odd thing about Luce, that despite is overly sheltered life, lack of common sense and ingrained ignorance, was that no matter what he would be naturally curious. Today, one could see the blond walking about town investigating thing, watching people, and feeling random items in stores.

He wanted to see how people survived here, and being here for just over a month had taught him a lot of things but at the same time nothing. So, what was this man to do? Besides, adapt.

"I believe they are, but I'm not a gardner so I can't be sure. It is all trial and experiment." She pauses and regards him a moment. "Have you ever done those kinds of things?"

"Don't you experiment with anything?" Though she doesn't know why she asks because she already knows the answer. She shakes her head. He is obviously not someone who even knows how to live.

"And your whole life is your job?" Which is a pitiable thing, really. He doesn't even seem to enjoy it.

"Then unbecome," she says though she knows how this conversation will go. Perhaps she's developing some masochistic tendencies. In either case, whether he answers or not...

"The vegetables are there to be picked. Try to figure out which ones."

She doesn't answer to that. It doesn't seem like a fair tradeoff but perhaps reincarnation really does work where he is from. In either case she has grown tired of debating. Instead she will watch him and grow hands out of the earth to slap him away when he's wrong, though she'll slap him away if he is right, too, to see if he can find another way of solving the problem.

"I think you have to think again." Whether he gives up or not, for her own part, no matter how much she feels faintly as if she's picking on an infant, it's vaguely cathartic.
