Summary: Luce is meandering about the town, he is trying to learn about it and adapt. But this is him we're talking about.
Rating: PG-13
The odd thing about Luce, that despite is overly sheltered life, lack of common sense and ingrained ignorance, was that no matter what he would be naturally curious. Today, one could see the blond walking about town investigating thing, watching people, and feeling random items in stores.

He wanted to see how people survived here, and being here for just over a month had taught him a lot of things but at the same time nothing. So, what was this man to do? Besides, adapt.

As he is walking, he might notice someone sitting by the fountain and watching him. Though perhaps not. She is reading, or at least it seems, but he may see an eye blink at him from a wall before bursting into a tiny smattering of petals.

Luce did notice the sudden petals and jumped away. His eyes were wide as he looked around and noticed the woman reading the book. Maybe she saw it? No, probably not. She was reading. He curled his toes against the stone of the courtyard, wondering if that was normal and if he should approach the woman.

Now, now, haven't you ever heard not to jump? It only makes the troll want to play. And play she will. A hand will spring from the wall and push you in the direction of the fountain and a few more will come from the ground at your feet, making come hither gestures. The woman at the fountain seems unphased.

Have you ever been told not to make fun of idiots? He freezes, what is he supposed to do besides tell the demon hands to go away- the woman. "Miss! There are demonhands surrounding you!"

"Demon hands? How rude. They're my own." And they disappear with a burst of petals as she looks up at him. "But I suppose you could say I am aware by default." She rests her chin in her hand and smiles at you. "You seem familiar somehow."

Should Luce happen to wander inside the library, he may notice a sight he would probably only ever see in Luceti: A small purple unicorn pony sitting at a table intently reading a book, with a stack of books piled higher around her than she is tall.

It was one of the 'ponies'. Those things that look like one of the demonic (in his mind) beasts, but are like people. Its one with a horn, except the horn doesn't look like it is big enough to skew him yet as he carefully decides to pace around her.

Before, he sees it in the corner of his eyes. The symbol of approval from his Church on the spine on the book.

He wants to read it. He carefully tries to move forward some.

Whatever is in that book, it must be very interesting. Well, to her at least, because she seems to pay no heed whatsoever to Luce's advance. She merely uses a little of her magic to turn the page and continue reading.

He let out a pathetic yelp at that. Okay, it was a witchhorse, but she found one of his world's books.

He wanted to read something, but...witchhorse. He was torn, he tried to sneak forward closer.

Her ear twitched at the yelp, and she happened to look up and caught sight of Luce's attempt at sneaking toward her. "Umm... hello. Can I help you with something?" She smiles a little awkwardly but good naturedly at him.

Grune is currently in the bakery, picking up some nice, fresh rolls. Luce may notice her movements are a little stiffer than the last time he saw her as she places them one by one into the basket over her arm. It's been a long week.

Despite that, she's still in good spirits, as is evidenced by her cheerful humming and the smile on her lips. She hasn't noticed him just yet, being not precisely the most observant person in the world. But maybe she will after a bit?

And Luce carefully moves forward, as he wonders whats wrong. Grune was friendly to him, so maybe he should try and do the same? Isn't that what people do in situations such as this?

He pads up to her and shifts a little in his spot.

"Um. Hello?"

Grune glances over at him, then turns to face him more fully, a brilliant smile on her face. "Oh, hello, Judge! Are you here to find something nice to eat?"

He nodded weakly, "Um. I was looking for simple to take home."

[lostinmyway]

"Hmm...." One finger slips up to rest against her cheek. "Well, what about some rolls? They're very good."

Doctor Eggman can often be found around the Battle Dome. If Luce should decide to check it out, he might spot the bulbous scientist there. Eggman will be spending his time in the lobby furrowing his brow over blueprints, as well creating new scenarios on a console to test his new mecha designs against.

Luce wasn't sure how he ended up there, nor what was going on. But when he saw the odd shaped man, he did what he figured was best. To get as close as he could without invading a personal bubble and watch.

What was the man looking at? Luce tried to peer over Dr. Eggman's shoulder to try and figure it out.

For a moment, Eggman won't notice the stranger trying to peer over his shoulder as he's too deep in thought. On the blueprint are designs for a somewhat humanoid robot with a variety of possible weapon attachments - spears, tridents, cannons. Some are crossed out and there are notes scribbled all over with complex algebra and measurements. The scientist is still adding adjustments here and there while muttering to himself.

... "I think a person is usually trained in what weapon they use?" he says finally. One just can't pick out someone's weapon right? Luce had no knowledge of robots or anything of the like.

Eggman jumps slightly in surprise when he realises someone has been watching him. He quickly regains his composure after glancing at Luce.

"And that is why robots make better soldiers than humans." He replies as he changes a figure on his diagram.

Here's hoping you aren't too worried about bumping into more horses, Luce. Because here's the big one. Celestia here is simply going about the area, enjoying the environment as it is. All things considered, it really was a nice place. Wanna go over to her and talk about it? She hasn't noticed you yet.

And Luce is so enamored with the area he isn't paying attention. Until he bumps into something big, and horselike, with a odd cloudy main.


"...Witchorse."

Yup, it's the very same princess pony from before. She looks over at Luce with a welcoming smile.

"Hello Sir Judge. Are you enjoying today's lovely weather as well?"

Luce wilted some as he looks down at his feet, digging his toes into the dirt.

Okay, be brave. She isn't really a horse. She is an odd shaped person. Horses don't have rainbow mains.

"I am. It is very nice. And you?"

But this one sure does. And it's flowing...like magic! Knowing how much her presence scares him, Celestia continues being as polite as she always has been.

"I am. Things have progressed to a rather welcome calmness, so I thought it best to take advantage."

Not like she has anything better to do.
