Who: Pepper Potts and her Super Secret Boyband AKA Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Billy Kaplan, and Teddy Altman. Also anyone who wanders by and wants to comment?
What: Building an art gallery
When: August 11 thru whenever they finish. No later than the 16th.
Where: The open space to the left of CH 4/across from House 39
Summary: So Pepper suckered some people into manual labor. These are the results.
Rating: PG-13, maybe, if someone hits their thumb with a hammer and says bad things.

[She can't hide it; Pepper is ecstatic to take this major step in the art gallery project. The construction marks the point where the idea shifts into reality, and this time? She's responsible for much more than 12% of the baby.

Of course, the good cheer will probably turn into frustration as the building goes on, but what can she do? Other than try to supervise. And yes, Tony, that is Pepper's job, so no attempting to use it as an excuse to slack off. Also part of Pepper's job is providing drinks and food for everyone involved, and making sure there are no major injuries, so expect refreshments and first aid kits on site. And when she's not tending to anyone else's needs or watching Steve and Tony at work for reasons, Pepper might even jump into the fray, attempting a bit of building herself--success remaining to be seen.]

Ready as I can be. [Once Teddy makes it to the table, he'll let go of Billy's hands to lay them on the table and look over the plans. Before things get started, though, he'll smile at her.] These look really good, Pepper. How long have you been thinking about doing this?

About three weeks now. I actually got the idea when I was talking to Billy. [Technically, when she was talking to Billy on the day Teddy kicked him out, but she won't mention that part.] Although I've been curating Tony's art collection for years, so this is something of an extension of that.

Billy's pretty good at giving people ideas. [Sometimes dumb ones. But usually good ones. He looks down at the plans again, a hand moving to cup his chin.] So I'm one of the grunts around here, huh?

[handing]

Well. Usually I'd try to say it nicely by calling you a valued employee, but pretty much. [Pepper smiles, then points out a list of tasks.] This is pretty much what we're doing, in the order it needs to be done. I don't know how much experience you have, but honestly, I'm really glad you were wiling to help at all. Thank you.

Might as well tell it like it is.

[Teddy smiles in return before he pays attention to what she's pointing out, and what she's saying. It doesn't look too hard... A lot like a couple of projects he did in the past when he was still in church.]

I'm no construction worker or anything, but I was a part of a couple of youth projects a few years ago. I'm just happy to help, really.

[And maybe get a look at Steve without being in the heat of battle, yisss.]

Well, according to my boss, I was responsible for twelve percent of our last major construction project. [Which is a skyscraper, granted, but still.] So you're probably beating me out.

[Pepper is on board with the viewing of Steve. Seeing him in the heat of construction, quite possibly without a shirt, is a definite bonus for many of them.]

Well, you've gotten the introduction. Feel free to grab a tool of your choice and jump in.

Twelve percent is better than nothing at all, right?

[And with that, he'll choose you, hammerchu! And start walking to the site.]

I'll get to work on my twenty percent, then! [Or more. Or less. He's just guesstimating.]

[Pepper gives Teddy a flat look.] Let me put it this way: he called it my baby, and then gave me twelve percent of the credit. And the blame for two security breaches.

[Still, she grins when Teddy goes to jump right in.]

[As he walks, he laughs quietly and shakes his head over what she says. Really, Iron Man? Really? He can't say he's surprised, though, so he turns to walk backwards while calling back.]

Still probably more than he'd give anyone else!
