Who: Pepper Potts and her Super Secret Boyband AKA Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Billy Kaplan, and Teddy Altman. Also anyone who wanders by and wants to comment?
What: Building an art gallery
When: August 11 thru whenever they finish. No later than the 16th.
Where: The open space to the left of CH 4/across from House 39
Summary: So Pepper suckered some people into manual labor. These are the results.
Rating: PG-13, maybe, if someone hits their thumb with a hammer and says bad things.

[She can't hide it; Pepper is ecstatic to take this major step in the art gallery project. The construction marks the point where the idea shifts into reality, and this time? She's responsible for much more than 12% of the baby.

Of course, the good cheer will probably turn into frustration as the building goes on, but what can she do? Other than try to supervise. And yes, Tony, that is Pepper's job, so no attempting to use it as an excuse to slack off. Also part of Pepper's job is providing drinks and food for everyone involved, and making sure there are no major injuries, so expect refreshments and first aid kits on site. And when she's not tending to anyone else's needs or watching Steve and Tony at work for reasons, Pepper might even jump into the fray, attempting a bit of building herself--success remaining to be seen.]

I noticed. [They just aren't near him. He was planning to just scoop them up later or something.]

Too bad noticing doesn't amount to using them.

[Except why double the effort when he doesn't need to? Pepper takes a look at the nearest bin, then heads over to it. It isn't so heavy she can't manage to drag it over on her own, and she positions it significantly closer to Logan.]

There. Better? [Now Logan has some place to toss his scraps. And so does Pepper, since she starts picking up the pieces littering the ground.]

Yeah. Perfect.

[Probably should've done that himself, but whatever. He deliberately tosses a chunk of wood inside the bin. Happy now?]

[Thrilled.

...No, actually, she kind of is. Not because Logan is cooperating, but because he's there. And it does mean a lot to her.]

A place like this, there ain't much else to be doing besides this.

That doesn't mean I'm not grateful.

[Bored or nice--the reason doesn't really matter so much to her.]

Yeah, I'll let you know. [Though his tone implies that no, he won't be doing any such thing.] When this thing gets done, but better have some really good pictures to put in here.

[Of course not. Well, Tony doesn't always tell her what he needs either. Good thing she's got practice at figuring it out anyway.]

I've got a few contributors lined up. And there will probably be more once the building is finished.

[snikting]

We talking real contributors or little kids?

[He's half expecting this to be filled with pictures of rainbows and stick people.]

[Oh ye of little faith.]

Real contributors. Although I probably will have an area for kids, to give them an opportunity to spark their interest.

[Better to encourage young talent than to let it wither, after all.]

Well, given everything they go through here, they do deserve some consideration.

[For his part, Logan is pretty absorbed in what he's doing. So he probably won't be much talkative at this point.]

[...Right. Pepper shakes her head, knowing that conversation is very likely a lost cause. She doesn't mind it though, and Pepper heads off to do other things.]
