Event Log -- A Kin'coran Play-date

Who: Luceti vs. Kin’cora, preliminary social bout.
What: Luceti has been voluntold that they must host Kin’coran survivors of a Cultist invasion.
When: Kin’cora refugees will start arriving at the southern barrier around 12PM.
Where: Luceti, duh. All of it.
Summary: Can you still call it a humanitarian effort if not all of us are humans?
Rating: G to PG, folks. Take anything else to your appointments.

As described here. Couple things to keep in mind, folks!

Although the Kin’corans will arrive around noon, it’s a 30 mile trek from the southern barrier to the village. They do have some horses and carts but it will be a slow trickle into town, not a sudden flood.

Have fun with your NPCs. Remember -- if from a canon, they should be minor, off-screen characters. No one appable! If you have any doubts please err on the side of asking us.

Included below are some conversational snippets your characters can hear from various Kin’coran refugees. Additionally, your characters may be able to talk parts or all of a timeline for the Kin'coran enclosure out of the refugees. Use these instead of NPCs or in addition to them -- it’s up to you! Also remember to tag your [canon] character name to the log!

May winced in pain as she glanced up at Ling. He was taking this fight seriously, and it was a bit frightening. If he hadn't spoken, she would have continued to stare at him.

"Okay," Her own voice was nothing more than a whisper, standing back up slowly. She'd have to be careful of what she decided to do, her alkahestry wasn't strong at all. Smacking them with it wouldn't be very effective. Glancing over at Xiao-Mei, it clicked. Pulling out her kunais, she began attempting to move to toss them in a circle around the younger brother.

Recognizing the circle, the younger brother began to move to escape the circle.

Well, yeah, some of them have been really mean. But I don't blame them. They're probably just scared and upset. I mean, they had their village destroyed by the Third Party...can you imagine that happening here?

[Well, she's heard about the one time the Third Party attacked Luceti a few years ago, but that seemed like such a distant notion to her until now.]

[He's undecided on what he thinks of the Malnosso. There's several like CJ and Davis that he has no qualms working with. People who just get sucked into things like Molly.

Others, like the scientists, treat them as play things. Ones who claim to be on their side constantly keep information from them. He wants to be prepared for all sides.]

There's no telling if we'll meet again, or what the situation will be like at the time. But if you find this information to you satisfaction, should that time come perhaps we can consider an alliance.

It was a question prompted simply by curiosity. He followed the group up to the cave and on into the front end of it. It was still his home, after all, though it might make them nervous to have him sitting at the only known exit. Not his problem, though.
