Event Log -- A Kin'coran Play-date

Who: Luceti vs. Kin’cora, preliminary social bout.
What: Luceti has been voluntold that they must host Kin’coran survivors of a Cultist invasion.
When: Kin’cora refugees will start arriving at the southern barrier around 12PM.
Where: Luceti, duh. All of it.
Summary: Can you still call it a humanitarian effort if not all of us are humans?
Rating: G to PG, folks. Take anything else to your appointments.

As described here. Couple things to keep in mind, folks!

Although the Kin’corans will arrive around noon, it’s a 30 mile trek from the southern barrier to the village. They do have some horses and carts but it will be a slow trickle into town, not a sudden flood.

Have fun with your NPCs. Remember -- if from a canon, they should be minor, off-screen characters. No one appable! If you have any doubts please err on the side of asking us.

Included below are some conversational snippets your characters can hear from various Kin’coran refugees. Additionally, your characters may be able to talk parts or all of a timeline for the Kin'coran enclosure out of the refugees. Use these instead of NPCs or in addition to them -- it’s up to you! Also remember to tag your [canon] character name to the log!

You can think what you'd like. [He's definitely within hearing range, but he's not stopping. He's not even turning around. He's merely slipping his hands in his pockets and continuing to move. Aang's words only serve to make him want to leave even more. Those stupid trees...]

That's trip number one done! Now I've just got to get out there and do it all over again.

[After all, time waited for no one. Plus, she had more of an idea of what to expect now. Sure, doing the same task over again was a little on the repetitive side, but that certainly wasn't going to dissuade her from going out anyway.

In fact, it was debatable whether anything would have been able to dissuade her.]

Being forgiven by Julia hadn't soothed the bitterness of his failure; the Forgemaster still felt a stinging sense of guilt and as more than a fiercely protective brother. He should have been able to fight Apep's influence, to resist fully; did years of training and development of his powers mean nothing at all, in the end? Would he always have to resign himself to being inferior and powerless, he mused, compared to someone else in the world?]

I understand completely. Most of my housemates and Lym are camping by the lake to avoid stressing resources or people. I chose to stay behind, though.

[Unspoken, however, is that he chose to send Lym along for her safety. She was far safer there.]
