Sending out an SOS
Who: Farmland Defenders and YOU.
What: Tourists are causing problems.
When: August 29, Morning.
Where: The Farm.
Summary: The farm has been raided by the Kin'corians--Aid is needed STAT.

[Intentional Audio Message:]
Attention Luceti.
Assistance is needed immediately at the farms to the northwest of the village. We have hostiles and--
[The oddly cool, clipped tone that the message was given suddenly breaks off into a heated bark.] Putain de merde!
[There's a rustle of pages and the sound of bodies colliding, followed more swearing in French.
The feed cuts out.

[It was a lie. There was more wrong with him than just the injury, but the rest was a problem that was invisible to the untrained eye. There was a calculated element to his movements and gait, and missteps or stumbles where no problems were seen otherwise. He had needed to retrain himself to do just basic things over the last several weeks and, while he had made progress, the compensatory habits left him fatigued. In turn, this left him more likely to experience the problems that had caused these behaviors in the first place.]

Good, glad to hear it. How many more of them are there out here?
Threadjack!
A dozen more by my count. At least. I just dealt with a bunch around back.
Nice of you to join us.
XD
He knew it. This wasn't the time.]
Another dozen? Damn how many got out here?

[Adell turns to Luke and nods.]
Where are they? If they don't stand down, I'll beat them down.
no subject
They wouldn't stand down. So I asked them to leave. Politely.
[Luke taps his forehead, indicating that he'd left them the psychic suggestion to just...leave.]
Told them this wasn't the farm they were looking for.

Heh. Of course you did!
no subject
Well, I don't know how you did it, but if it worked, I'm fine with that! The less fighting we have to deal with, the better in this case.

Still, thank you for coming. The farm is too important to risk.
no subject
And thanks for the assist. It was starting to get really tense with that guy.

It's no problem. It is pretty much my job, after all. But still, I'd come even if it wasn't.

[He shakes his head as his senses warn him of an approaching wannabe thief]
Stand down, return to the village. Now!
