Attention Luceti.

Assistance is needed immediately at the farms to the northwest of the village. We have hostiles and--

[The oddly cool, clipped tone that the message was given suddenly breaks off into a heated bark.] Putain de merde!

[There's a rustle of pages and the sound of bodies colliding, followed more swearing in French.

The feed cuts out.

Hurry, Luceti.]

[Luke watches in...confusion...as he's suddenly swarmed by flies. This is...pretty new, and Luke swats at the bugs with his hands, pushing at them with the Force. Its not particularly effective, but at least it keeps them out of his mouth]

What...huh?!

[Rin's flames, where they are, burn away the flies But right now, he can't actually control his flames well. It's just around his shoulder and head. So he sort of rolls his shoulders and shakes his head to try to make things burn up. But as he's doing things like this the other demon (hereafter Beelzebub even though he didn't say his name out loud) rushes up to knee Rin in the fact. It's a blindingly fast movement... or would be without the 10% limit. It;s still fast.]

[Luke's pretty grossed out, but he's not going to let that stop him. Its not his favorite tactic, but he taps into the Force and sends out a telekinetic burst, throwing back the gross flies and giving him room to work. His staff swings out, smacking into the fly demon.]

Stay away!

[rashness]

[He can't even turn into his demon form. Hisss. Beelzebub actually takes the hit, but he uses it to flip over Luke's head and try to deliver a low kick. Rin contorts himself to try to keep up, but it's not working well- okay, he's got a lock now, time to go in swinging]

[Luke takes the kick and stumbles forward, almost tripping but using the staff to keep upright and lash out with his boot, aiming right for Beelzebub's face, and using the Force to make a second telekinetic burst, both aimed at hitting the demon and moving Luke out of his reach]

[rashness]

[Which connected! The guy yelps, but he's only barely hurt by that.Rin slugs him- or intended too. Despite being thrown off balance, the Lord of Flies is more than capable of ducking out of the way of that punch and stabbing his fingernails into Rin's gut, drawing blood.]

[Luke lands, not needing his powers to still be agile. When he sees the demon stab Rin, he drops his staff and the air is filled with a hissing sound as he draws his lightsaber. The demon had attacked them, drawn first blood, and was escalating the situation in a way that made the Jedi feel it was time to end it before it got worse]

Rin, are you alright? [He then aims the blade at Beelzebub]

Back off. There's no need to make this more serious but if you persist I will have to stop you.

[rashness]

[Rin shoved Beelzebub back after being stabbed, but he's still bleeding. Looking down at it (near his heart) it's a bad place to be stabbed too, even if it didn't seem to hit his lungs or his heart. He snarls and looks back at the Lord of Flies...

...Who is laughing. eagerly laughing because this is so fun to play with one of his brothers. And to that end he leaps- a standing jump which is about third feet in the air and is planning to make a downward kick towards them]

[Luke's having no more of this. He holds up his hand and projects a burst of Force energy, knocking the flying demon backwards a good yard. Not as far as he'd hoped, but its distance.]

Rin, are you alright? [He places himself between the two demons]

[rashness]

[Unfortunately, demons can leap in mid-air. apparently. Beel here can't make the bed of flies he normally would, but he can kick off seemingly nothing to go at tackling Luke.

As for Rin-] I was- Wah?!

[As Beel flies through the air, Luke takes a swing at the creature with his lightsaber as he sidesteps, neatly removing one clawed hand.]

I warned you to stay back, whatever you are! Don't force me to injure you further!

[rashness]

[Snarling, Beel skids back. Normally, he'd have some flies come to his hand and make a new one... but at ten percent, his flies just sit on the burned wound, uselessly. Man this sucks. Rin, for his part, looks at that. amazingly impressed.

The Lord of Flies finally picks up his hand, dusts himself off using the severed hand, and then is going to back off. Walk off, poshly]

[Luke deactivates his lightsaber and moves over to Rin with a worried expression]

Are you alright? He didn't hit anything vital did he?

[rashness]

[Still bleeding on his shirt but-] No, I don't think so...

[thefinaljedi]

Good. Let me see it, I've got a med-kit up by the pen.

[He leans in]

[rashness]

Don't bother, it's gunna heal soon.

[In fact, he crosses his arms. Defiantly]

Then, I'll speed that along.

[Nowhere NEAR as effective as it should be, but Luke does impart a bit of healing through the Force, speeding it along...barely]

Who was that guy?

[rashness]

I dunno. [Neck crack... sigh] Called me like that though, probably a demon. Felt as strong as Amaimon too...

[Great, demons. Poshly walking demons...]

[rashness]

This piece a' work I dealt with back home. [Grunt] Doesn't matter, anyway. We gotta check on other things.

[More fighting sounds there are here. So he needs to come find them. In fact, he sets out to look]

[Luke starts off in another direction, confident that Rin can take care of himself.]
