Who: Aya & Aya
What: Domestic things.
When: A bit after the love event.
Where: Starting from their kitchen.
Summary: Reconnection time?
Rating: G
Cooking wasn't the same here. Aya had tried to make Hinachirashi just because the third of March was close by. He wasn't exactly sure what the date was, but considering from the temperature and length of day, it seemed about the right time. Their mother had always remembered the Girl's day, and even if he had thought it then as needless fuss, now it seemed appropriate, and nostalgic. But he couldn't have found all the ingredients, and truthfully, he wasn't sure if he remembered all of them anyhow, or knew how to prepare them. But in the end, he had cooked something that probably would be edible and he hoped it would be enough for her.
Plates set on the table, kitchen cleaned from all the earlier clutter when he had been repotting some of the seedlings, Aya knocked on his sister's door and waited for her to answer.

He rubs his neck for one silent moment, feeling suddenly very awkward, which doesn't please him. And so, he tries to shake it off by doing something that feels familiar between the two of them.
"I bet you don't know what the food is supposed to be," he says with a bit of smirk, something Ran was quite accustomed with, but Aya feels like reliving a memory.

Aya-chan opens her eyes wide in mock surprise. "It's supposed to be food?" She grins broadly and winks to show she is just joking.

"Very clever, Aya," he murmurs in a chuckle, giving her a mock frown for her antics. "But I'm glad you're so trusting~"

"And brave too!" She stabs at her food, taking a bite.
Her tone and eyes soften. "It is very good, Ran." She brushes a braid over her shoulder. "You should invite Caesar over to join us next time."
no subject
When she mentions Caesar, he looks up with arched brows. "I will. I'm sure he'd like that."

"At least you haven't yet talked with your mouth full," he says dryly, but not without any humor. There's a tiny hint of it. If you squint.

She puts on a mock offended glare that is a childish imitation of his own. "Ran! Slander! I would never do that." The offended glare is further spoiled by a giggle.

He's secretly tempted to stick out his tongue at her, something he hasn't done since being a little kid.

He wrinkles his nose, the rise dropping down, and he frowns.
