Summary: After an unfortunate tussle with a Chaos God, work on a farm, a swarm of refugees and stress piled upon stress, sometimes all anyone wants is to sit back and watch classic movies.
Rating: PG for possible adult language
Something that everyone could agree on was this: the past three weeks had been several shades of stressful. What they needed, what they all needed was something mindless and relaxing shared in the company of those they care for in a neutral environment. The beach works well enough, and it's not that far a trip for anyone involved.

[It was his outdoor screen, pulled out from his boom shack behind CH 5. Of course Lupin was helping with the set up, even if it was more likely that he would get in the way of the people who were really running it. While he was feeling much better after everything, he knew that it wasn't perfect--he had hit a point where he was as good as he was going to get for a while, at least until the winter.

Timing was everything.

He's brought blankets at the very least, but the sandy terrain was as hard to manage as it was in July. Some things just hadn't gotten better. Give him a hand...or tell him to stop and let others handle things for once.]

[Steals those blankets and sets them up instead. Bad Lupin. But yes, if Fujiko's going to be helpful, she had to at least pretend it's for selfish reasons, gosh.]

[A wink despite rubbing his forehead from that flick--she always played rough.] You know, blankets are small time compared to everything else that I could be doing Fujiko-chan.

[He steals some of those blankets back and continues his work, despite the nature of sand and how it makes maneuvering tricky for a man with a messed up sense of balance.]

[Stamps her foot in aggravation.]

Yes. You could be skydiving or doing something more fun, so heal up so can do those things or I'll start stealing sedatives to make you stay put. An elephant's dose since I know you built up an immunity to horse tranq's already.

[He laughed even as he considered the possible interactions that the sedatives would have with the rest of his cocktail, and decided that he didn't want to deal with it.]
