Prescribed Recreation part 3: Chillax'n with a Vengeance

Who: House 44, House 46, House 3, Saori, Steve Rogers, and whoever wanders in
What: Movie night on the beach
When: September 9th, in the evening
Where: The Beach
Summary: After an unfortunate tussle with a Chaos God, work on a farm, a swarm of refugees and stress piled upon stress, sometimes all anyone wants is to sit back and watch classic movies.
Rating: PG for possible adult language
Something that everyone could agree on was this: the past three weeks had been several shades of stressful. What they needed, what they all needed was something mindless and relaxing shared in the company of those they care for in a neutral environment. The beach works well enough, and it's not that far a trip for anyone involved.

[ Helios looks down at Luminair's curled up form as well. His smile gets just a little bit brighter at seeing him like that. ]

It certainly is. He's...had a very loving upbringing s-so he's more aware and used to human interaction than most of his kind. [ There's another chuckle when Luminair stretches a little and lets out a tiny yawn. ] You've helped him a great deal and so has Adele and everyone else. He could probably use a friend, another dragon maybe, hm?

There are no dragons in my home world so this has been a real treat.

[Smiling as the dragon gets comfortable she rubs a finger affectionately under the little thing's chin. The thought of another baby dragon around is actually a pretty nice one, so long as the two of them get along. Then again they would be so little still that it would be easy for them to become fast friends.]

Perhaps he could. And...you know if you needed any help in taking care of a second I'd be happy to do so, right?
folklorist: (Yes I do agree with that)

Oh, really? Are there no mystical creatures in your world?

[ It was strange to hear. Necromancy existing but no creatures like dragons about. Perhaps it's because Helios has just connected occult things like that to one another for most of his life. Other worlds were vastly different than his own, and then some not so much. Luminair lets out a contented little purr and then a yawn, which flashes his sharp but small teeth. ]

Oh I wouldn't doubt that at all. Babysitting dragons...that would be a rather fun job. I think you'd be first on my list to help out, Sabriel. [ Helios will stroke Luminair's back softly as he regards the little one again with a looks of affection and utter adoration. ]
thebellthatbinds: (don't worry)

There are, but none of them are the sort to get along with people.

[Which is putting things very, very lightly. What mystical creatures exist in her world all feed off of people one way or another. Be it their blood, their Life force, their cadavers...not really the sort of things you'd go out of your way to look for.]

Thank you Helios.
