Pinkie's New Feather Party: The Masquerade Ball!

Who: Pinkie Pie, the New Feathers, and you!
What: Pinkie Pie's Party Palooza: New Feather Party Edition!
When: September 22, evening until late night.
Where: The Battle Dome
Summary: Get your Masquerade on
Rating: P for Pinkie Pie Party Paradise

The night is finally here! Pinkie Pie and friends have been working hard to get everything absolutely perfect. The Battle Dome has been done up to look like a grand ballroom, complete with dance hall and dining area. A small, but elegantly decorated stage is situated in the middle of the dance hall, and is equipped with microphones and speakers for anyone willing to perform. Otherwise, the dome is set up to play songs on request.

The dining area is equipped with a buffet-style dinner selection, filled with food contributed by various donators, highlighted by a large cake at the central table, which is then surrounded by smaller tarts, pies and pastries. Wine, champagne, and other choice drinks are available from ice chests near the buffet line.

Finally, since it was so popular with the last party, the night will be ended with a fireworks display over the dome. Afterwards, Pinkie Pie will be going around making sure everyone gets home safely, before returning to the dome to start cleaning up.

Note: Like Pinkie's last party, this one has a theme: a Masquerade Ball. Everyone who enters must wear a mask, and keep it on for the entirety of the party. If you haven't picked one out yourself, Pinkie would be more than happy to provide one for you.
dragoneer: (I have to eat that?)

[Yeah. He know. He knows. And this kind of stuff? Always happens to him. What is his life.]

Well, I had to make up for the...[He gestures TO ALL OF HIM. Or all the robes.]...this. I don't exactly have formal clothes.
bubblywishes: (. . .)

And you went with that instead of, say...trying the clothing shops or asking the expertise advice from a fair and radiant maiden like myself? [SIGH.] Jeez, you guys are beyond belief. How do you function without our assistance?

[Seriously, Norma wonders this sometimes. It's amazing how some guys just...just exist the way they do. It's magic - true magic.]
dragoneer: (It's just swell really.)

H-hey! Iiiii may not have the best fashion sense, but--I can do plenty of other things just fine. Like--cook. I'm actually pretty good at that now, actually.

[Give him some credit, okay. Vikings pretty much have no equivalent to this.]

Now?

[My gosh, Hiccup, you are incredible. Incredibly lackluster, that is, but Norma's just laughing quietly behind her hand. It's funny, she likes the fact that you seem to be rather...inept (no offense) at many things. It's charming - endearing, maybe. Oh, and it's definitely pretty funny.]
dragoneer: (Breadmaking vikings!)

[His mouth thins into a line. GIVE HIM SOME CREDIT OKAY, HE TRAINED A DRAGON.]

Iiii--well, yeah. I didn't exactly have a reason to learn to cook back home.
bubblywishes: (Oh look - something shiny!)

Oh, you lived with your mom and dad or something?

[Strangely enough, Norma's kind of not used to such things. Almost all the people she knew from Melfes that she traveled with were around her age and...yeah, traveling the entirety of the largest ship on the planet and saving the world and all that. :'D]
dragoneer: (Yup. There you have it.)

Ahh--not quite. [Would this be a bad time to mention his mom has been dead since he was a wee lad? Probably so.] But there were designated cooks in the village. We ate communally in a big hall. Every meal.
