This is an open log for anyone who would like to thread out checking the tunnels out, observe the wall of memoirs, or just generally poke around at things.

It certainly could. Not the most convenient location, but it is out of the way and clearly, anyone who's coming back here took what they wanted already.

What do you make of it? All this, I mean. You've been in town for much longer than I have.

My honest opinion? It's...hard not to feel at least a little deflated.

That there's been people who've been in our exact same position before. So, the question is--how do we avoid ending up like them?

I think that depends entirely on how they ended up, right? We don't exactly know...

If things had gone sunny-side up for them, I doubt we'd be here.

I dunno. Regardless of how they end on one round or another, some things are always cyclical.

Besides. Sunny-side up is a tough thing to define.

Depends on who you ask. Those notes hardly make it seem like everyone was having a grand old time during their stay here.

But that's just it, Tony. We can't know if those notes are from the end of their stay or the middle of their stay. Sometime, somehow, this place got sealed up. We don't know if we're reading the cliff-hanger or the epilogue.

Normally I'd say I like cliff-hangers. Keeps people on their toes. But in this case? Not so much.

Okay. Question. What's with everyone and submarines? Is no one properly claustrophobic these days?

I've always been more of an aircraft person myself. I suppose that's why I fly around in a suit of armor.

I don't particularly like either. Or cars, for that matter.

How do you get around, Summers? Bicycle? Speed boat?

My own two feet. Xander drove me around once he got a car. Giles, sometimes. The bus. We have the helicopter at the castle but it's definitely not me that flies it. Kinda makes me motion sick.

That's a shame. No offense, but you wouldn't make a great Stark.

Buffy Stark just doesn't sound right, to begin with. I don't know -- learning to drive wasn't the biggest priority. If we had cars here? Maybe I'd bother.
