Harvest is Late Again.

Who: Nami (sort of) and anyone so inclined to help her out!
What: A harvest.
When: November 5th and 6th
Where: The mikan grove.
Summary: Nami didn't make the call for volunteers this year, despite already running late.  Luckily, Law did.
Rating: Rated PG just to be safe.


[So Nami didn't have a good time on the draft.  Which marks her up there with every other survivor of the damn thing, so nothing special there.  Events were rather shattering for both her and her crew, and she's been up here since her return, working to harvest the orchard on her own fifteen hours a day.  It's mindless and it's something to focus on, and she just didn't have the heart to make a public call out on the journals, let alone ask for help.  Aang and Marco came to help her out some earlier, for which she's silenty grateful.  But at this rate she'll be at least another week.

She hasn't heard Law's entry on the locked community (or anyone else's, for that matter), so when volunteers start arriving, she's surprised.  And not quite sure what to do except sort of...keep going. 

But.  Something tight within unwinds a little.  She might not be good at showing appreciation today, but it helps.  It really does.]

((ooc:  I've had a request for a harvest thread with Nami, so I figured putting this up is a good idea after all.  Nami herself isn't very sociable, though, so just warning ahead of time!  Backtaggable into forever.))

Oh? Then this will really throw you for a loop. [Because the thing is Ikki, Marco isn't at all limited to just three zoan forms. He's unlocked the infinity loops! Or something. At any rate, he's completely cheating and switches to just having a beak.]

[And he deals with Ace and the assorted insanity of the Whitebeard pirates. At least her weakness isn't being as rash the sun.]

[More showing off, all while snipping a few mikan. One bird foot, one human. Aw yes. One wing, one just in blue flames. AND NOW they change sides! \o/]

[Snickers quietly as she gets back to work and flies down to put a couple of mikan in the basket.]

[ THE WORST. She's got just the one, which she sends down to the basket before going back to work, this time much more determined.

...And she might send a small gust of air his way. Two can play at the distraction game, Marco! ]

[alskdjalkdj Yup, that distracts him. He wasn't braced for it in time since it's ~magic~ airbender wind, so he has to steady himself to stay level. Have a startled chirp.]

[And then when he figures out it was Ikki... well...]

[He just starts laughing.]

We'll make a pirate of you yet, lass. [Winks and heads back up to get started on the next mikan.]

[Now he's trying to throw off her counting. Mwahahah. On his third mikan~]

[ She's on her third, too! Her counting doesn't matter much, though, since she's just going to work as fast as she can to fill that basket... ]
