This post covers the first day, before the attack. Remember, characters here are not expecting an attack and are under the impression they will be going to Region 1 to fight. During this day, draftees will be restricted to T6 and T7 and not permitted access to other areas.

Nah, usually they just have these awesome vending machines that just give us whatever we want. [oh it's drawing here.]

I'll agree the food's definitely lacking here. Makes me glad I brought my stash with me.

Dunno, but people go in looking sick and then come out pretty fine after a few minutes.

[He hasn't been officially yet, nor has he visited Luceti's clinic -- the closest thing to any clinic back home is the Pokémon Center and that's, well, usually for Pokémon.]

Could be worth checking out? [And getting away from this "food". It matches the vomit he had earlier, tbh.]

His arms slipped around her waist as he leaned into that kiss, his fingers curling lightly against her stomach.

Definitely to be remembered for next time - his lady liked jewelry.

Bazooka-eyes, huh? "That's a new one."

Rogue picked up a handgun and tested its weight. "How was the mission?"

Same. [He smirked.] There's even a few hot chicks around here we can save!

You brought your own stash?!

[he claps his hands over his mouth, aware of his loudness, but even if they're farther away from everybody it feels weird to hear it kind of echo. shh. okay.]

We'll just eat that instead~. [look at this cheerfulness at the thought of devouring everything Gold holds dear to his stomach. turning about face--]

I did a little. [Not enough. He had to rest before he could get a good look at it.]

Logan leaned against a support beam, watching as she picked a weapon, but offering no commentary about her choices.

"Plenty of action. Had a few close calls. 'Ro came back a bit banged up, but it ain't nothing a little doctoring won't fix."

Geez, you act like it's gonna kill you or something. It'll probably hurt for like, two seconds or something and then it'll be fine.

Besides, whatever it's for, if you don't get it, things will probably just get worse for you, you know? Like...if you don't get this one, what if you end up needing like, two shots later or something...?

Rogue lifted one gloved hand and rested it against his cheek as she gave herself over to kissing him thoroughly. It would be easy to lose herself in this, but after some time Rogue made herself pull away. "Be safe," she whispered.

She set the gun back down and glanced at Logan, "Did she go see Mia?"

I have about twenty on me right now. [His weapons are mostly in pouches strapped to each leg. The vest he's wearing has pockets that are obviously used for something, too.] There were more, but my teammate lost his chance to prepare before the draft. I shared.

"When I saw Mia, she wasn't exactly a hundred percent."

He pulled back enough to read those words on her lips, then ducked in for one last little kiss. "You as well, my lady."

Loki knew a goodbye when he heard one. He gave her a crooked smile and then vanished.

"She took some medicine; she should be better now. Who did Ororo go ta see?"

[pendantry]

[She finally turns her head enough to look at him. He's just a kid. A kid with suspiciously familiar-seeming clothes.]

[Normal. Something she has never been called before in her life. It almost makes her laugh, except she thinks laughing will lead to being sick.]

"We were speaking about long term relations between Luceti and the Malnosso."

They had also been speaking about the droids, and Law has a few choice observations about that. He finds it interesting that the droids on the draft can be fought off now when they had infiltrated a Rogue facility and not one from the main Organization. That could mean a few things.

And then there was the incident in January. Which he still wasn't sure of.

So did I. I don't usually like weapons but...knowing that some enemies can leave me powerless without effort is a very sobering thought.

Whoa, hold up, dude! It's not like I brought along a full-course meal with me! [Gold doesn't care if he's loud. And he's going to keep on walking to the mess hall.]

[Alexei was taking his leave from the clinic earlier that day and will likely be passing Cross through the hallways. At first he doesn't say anything until he got a better look at him. He felt like he had seen him somewhere before...]

...Cross?

Good. The others will be doing enough of that. [Somehow, even though it's a draft and she's partially terrified, she can manage to smile when they talk like this.] I will try not to give anyone work to do, either.

"...you really have to stop doin' that," she said, watching the space where he disappeared. Then she looked down at his gift, smiling, and lifted it up to watch which direction it would point. She smiled as it tugged towards the barracks. Then Rogue rose and tucked it into her uniform. It would be better not to attract attention, and she'd hate to have it ripped off or damaged in a fight.
