This post covers the first day, before the attack. Remember, characters here are not expecting an attack and are under the impression they will be going to Region 1 to fight. During this day, draftees will be restricted to T6 and T7 and not permitted access to other areas.

Yeah, no kidding. Easier to hide in a freakin' jungle too. At least in space it's harder to hide yourself, unless you're in an asteroid belt or something.

So, like, get back there and get that shot instead of like, running around screaming and scaring people! I'm pretty sure people around here are like, nervous enough without you making so much noise n' junk.

That bad, huh...? W-Well, it doesn't count as wasting food if it's not really food, does it? Besides, I wasn't too hungry anyway.

[She looks around for a second before digging through her bag and pulling out a cookie. She does her best to be secretive when she offers it to Cloche with a little smile.]

[The massive armor takes a long look at the woman, scanning her for a moment with her visor. The woman didn't look as afraid about the situation as much as she felt surprise over seeing the armor, something Daisy had learned to get used to among new feathers.

She didn't recognize her. SPARTAN-023 decides to ask something first, first by revising the weapons this girl would carry.]

How much heavy weaponry is there?

[A young, female voice asks from inside it.]

I hope so, too. [He grins a little awkwardly, running a hand through his hair.]

But I don't think I'm the one you should ask that question... I'm pretty new to all this myself.

Hey, it's ok. [He shakes his head, offering up a smile.

If he was going to take offense to something like that, he'd be kind of a hypocrite himself.]

It's not that impossible a thing to think, you know? So no big deal.

Probably. I did for a little while earlier, but I had help then.

[He smiles.]

I made a new friend.

[Frey is exploring a bit after seeking out the medical area to get his headache taken care of when he spots Cloche leaning over the side of this high place, and while it would be worrisome in some cases, she seemed capable of handling herself....

Regardless, though, he's making his way over to greet her. It had been a while.] Enjoying the view?

Do you plan to stay with the medical teams, then? [That was the only conclusion he could come to, from her words.]

Derek laughs as he hands her her cup.

"Well, glad to know I'm going up on the ladder, anyway."

He'll lean against a nearby table while he sips his own coffee, still watching her carefully. She seems to be better now, but...

"I'll cone by when I can, all right?" he makes that offer quietly. It probably wouldn't be often, not once the fighting started, but it was something.

He grins, his affection for the woman apparent. "Of course she was; she was from Sicily. You don't mess with that."

He gives the food a quick glance; he's definitely seen worse, but he's pretty sure he'll just be eating this stuff to eat.

"Didn't ask." It wasn't out of a lack of concern for Ororo. It's just that he knew they were never short of people who could patch people up and she wasn't in so bad of shape she couldn't move herself around. So being the one in good shape, it was his job to check up on the team.

That's what we do on a team.

[If it was meant to be a special moment, it wasn't. He kept shuffling her forward, towards the physician's office which wasn't far now. her being part of the team was just a fact now.]

"Ah, well, Carol is a rather extraordinary woman. Relations between enclosure residents and the organization is something of a specialty of hers. Of course, she isn't scheduled to visit Luceti for some years, but ah, I believe I can pull some strings and expedite things."

"I'm not in charge of the organization anymore. Or much of anything, really. You're someone else's responsibility now."

"It would depend on whether I'm not telling your for a good reason or because I simply haven't thought to mention it."

"What, the oncoming battle? The cultists are nihilistic madmen who think that permanent death is preferable to endless cycles of life on this planet. They're unreasonable brutes."

"I came for you! Well, not you specifically, though I am glad to see you. I'm simply here to visit all of you. It feels like it's been a lifetime since I was last surrounded by Lucetians." And he chuckled at his own little joke.

It would be a shame to disappoint her. It was quite unintentional, I assure you.

No no! Not a vacation. Just passing through, really, from one thing to another. But a man cannot simply spend every day working or he'll go barney.

"It's rather boring being called the same thing all the time. Especially if you've already gone through one lifetime using the same name already."

I may be, though I'm not certain what that statement is. But dear me, you're back already?

[He looked disappointed.]

No special moments necessary. Mia is just grateful, and will be even moreso when this silliness stops and she can get ready properly.]
