This post covers the first day, before the attack. Remember, characters here are not expecting an attack and are under the impression they will be going to Region 1 to fight. During this day, draftees will be restricted to T6 and T7 and not permitted access to other areas.

"Expensive." Five years with no currency did things to a girl's money mind. "Sure. I guess asking you what you're not telling me is kinda...a dumb idea."

"It would depend on whether I'm not telling your for a good reason or because I simply haven't thought to mention it."

"Doesn't that kinda depend on whether we agree about what a good reason is?"

Word games were hardly Sheena's strong point. She wanted answers, not dances around bushes.

"Will you tell me how many villages are in region one?"

"Presently? None. If you mean were, in the past tense? Two. But they never quite got started. We lost them both in their first year."

At first, that statistic hits her very hard. What if Luceti had- hold on.

"Then what are we gonna defend?"

"As far as I can tell, nothing. You are on the offense, reclaiming enemy territory."

That changed a few things. Specifically, the way she needed to prepare. In her head. Bil doesn't need to know that, though.

"Right. Okay." There were enough other disgruntled-looking draftees lingering around that Sheena thought her time might be up. "I guess...you get to enjoy your food then."
