This post covers the first day, before the attack. Remember, characters here are not expecting an attack and are under the impression they will be going to Region 1 to fight. During this day, draftees will be restricted to T6 and T7 and not permitted access to other areas.

[Henry just continues to glare back at Mithos. There was a coldness in the other man's eyes and while it kind of scared Henry, he knew better than to let the bullies win.

The stare off is interrupted however, when Professor Raine comes in.

[ Marita nods in agreement. ] From what it sounds like, their own experiments on us are less hypothesized and more a series of random events.

There's a lot to know, and you won't really know what's needed until things start happening. A lot of what goes on eventually ends up being instinct. If you're worried that you might be too nervous, practice being calm. Practice being surprised, or under pressure... though this situation is already a bit too late for that. There will be people around to give you instruction, I'm sure - you'd just need to be able to follow their lead.

Yeah? That's surprising. [Shikamaru's one of the most capable people he knows, the idea that he would have the most casualties is just weird for him to think about. His eyes go a little wider but he nods all the same.

Because most people would prefer to forget or ignore the truth, and live comfortably. To me, that's not worth it. Truth is too valuable.
