This post covers the first day, before the attack. Remember, characters here are not expecting an attack and are under the impression they will be going to Region 1 to fight. During this day, draftees will be restricted to T6 and T7 and not permitted access to other areas.

Really? [ She sounds impressed. ] I suppose that if the Malnosso themselves are figuring a way out of there... then they would use our knowledge as an advantage as well. Do you happen to know what the cure was?

[ Marita nods in agreement. ] From what it sounds like, their own experiments on us are less hypothesized and more a series of random events.

I know that the cure was essentially developed in a similar manner to a vaccine to any more standard virus... it took a few days of development, starting with a basic "proto-cure" and working from there. They have the vaccine still in the village clinic, as far as I'm aware. Just in case there's need.

[He considers for a moment, but figures it's definitely worth sharing what he knows with her.]

I have a file on the incident, I'd be willing to share that when we return. Or any of the previous draft files, if you're interested. Looking them over as a whole, you really do gain an appreciation for how random it all is.

[ She isn't surprised that Mulder has his own case of the X-Files here. In fact, she's grateful. It makes her own research much easier without having to ask constantly on the network. ]

I would appreciate that. It would help immensely if I could catch up on what's happened here previous to my arrival, even if it will makes as little of sense to me as it does to you. Still... it could be a way of leading us closer to finding out why all of us are here. Malnosso included.

Would you happen to have sufficient information on a few of the other factions known to us, as well?

Maybe you'll have a new insight, you'll find something that I haven't seen. It's been impossible to find any reasoning behind it, so far... but I want to change that.

[He figures keeping files all all their drafts and experiments will be the start to that.]
