[26th-28th: Mulder is in an even more intense investigative mode than usual. Anything he sees that looks remotely like a crime, he will be there, drawing a chalk line around it along with tossing out some crime scene tape. Then finding impossibly convenient clues right there! And making outlandish plot-twisting claims about what happened.]

There's been a sudden rise in crime lately. But don't worry, I'm on the case. I won't rest until I arrest every suspect.

[Come across him investigating a murder (of a certain blonde armored guy). Or maybe he'll just approach you in the middle of your own problematic situation!]

[Action]

[29th-30th: All of the investigation has got him highly motivated to look into his own personal issues. His sister has been missing for years after all. And very suddenly, he's finding clues and hints all over the place pointing him in the direction of his long lost alien abducted sister.]

[Are YOU involved? Maybe he thinks you're his sister, maybe he thinks you took her? Either way, he'll come up to random people all over the place:]

It's you, isn't it? You're the one I've been looking for all along.

...it's not as if I'm that difficult to find, Mulder. I'm quite tall.

[Come on Mulder, show the nice mischief god your shift-induced psychosis. It ought to be fun.]

[Yep, psychosis would be an accurate description. It's as if the conspiracy has tightened its grip on him, all signs of it showing up everywhere he turns. And now, as Mulder sees Loki, it all becomes clear...]

[He immediately draws his gun and aims it at him.]

You took her! It was your fault all along! I can't believe I didn't realize it sooner...

[He has godlike powers, he's technically an alien... he's been in league with the conspiracy back home all along. Probably orchestrated the whole thing back when it first started, since he'd have been around a damn long time.]

[Whoops, and we have now replaced ourselves with an illusion and moved invisibly to a safer angle. The Fake Loki holds up his hands in the universal gesture of gee whiz, copper, don't shoot.]
