[Luke sets his jaw and waits. Hopefully the man will back down, but he's not about to.]

Have it yer way, boy!

[And with that, Barbossa would begin a rush towards his lightsaber wielding foe, about to attempt to take a determined swing with his broadsword. At the same time, Jack would leap off and try to confuse Luke in any way possible by first attempting to relentlessly tug on his clothes.]

[The strike is met simply, a smooth powerful motion on Luke's part. Soundlessly, the lightsaber cleaves straight through Barbossa's metal sword as it would anything else. His battle focus let him ignore the annoying monkey. But that monkey was pretty irritating and he debates flicking it away...]

What in bloody blazes--

[The pirate captain stood completely aghast as he looked at his torn sword with his eyes full of shock and awe, an outcome he clearly hadn't included into his calculations before charging Luke's way. His fighter had more tricks up his sleeve than he thought.

Thankfully, his sword wasn't the only weapon he had in his arsenal. Smoke soon filled the area as he dropped a smoke bomb he had taken from the item shop, and then, he prepared his pistol, taking it form his belt and grabbing it in his hand, a finger ready on the trigger already. He backed away while the monkey began attempting to climb Luke's clothes and steal his light stick, actually thinking that he could get away with such a theft.

There was no way Luke could find Barbossa in the thick smoke, yes?... He should've been the one terrified right now, no?... It was not like he had some sort of magical force that could somehow help him discover Barbossa's position or anything like that!]

[Except...Luke very much does have that Force. He casually flicks the monkey aside with magical mind powers, sending it skittering safely clear to be unharmed.

And then he tosses his weapon at Barbossa's position, a spinning green circle of death whipping through the smoke towards the pirate...]

[...Which, much to the captain's surprise, easily discovered him among the fog that had just about consumed this part of the village and went straight through his chest, cutting through the wings on his back as well, which caused him endless pain as he gave out a loud scream of agony. With his eyes as wide as they could be, Barbossa fell down on his knees with an angered look on his face that he directed towards the only silhouette he could see through the thick smoke.]

Ye... will pay for this, boy!

[At the time of him saying so, he had no idea how Luke was gonna do that, but it seemed like a fitting enough death line for an old pirate like him to say anyway.

And with that, he collapsed on the ground, his feeble, dying hand releasing its grasp on his broadsword, or what was left of it, rather.

A terrified Jack ran up to his master's corpse and desperately tried to get him to stand up or show any signs of life, but to no avail. The pirate was utterly defeated, with neither Luke's girlfriend nor his lightsaber in his possession.

Or was he...?]

[Silently, Luke resheathed his weapon with a click. No point in saying anything. He'd dealt with the man and Ami was safe. The Malnosso could deal with the corpse.]
