What: The Cultural Fair
When: June 5th- 12th - admittedly dates are sort of nebulous - set up could have begun as early as the 5th, but given the event recently, more days could have been taken to do it and for people to involve themselves, so it probably "officially" starts a little later (by the 8th at the very least, though work can go on throughout it) - feel free to use your judgement/have fun!

Notes: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier.

Work probably started for it on the 5th-7/8th for labor purposes, though feel free to use dates to your advantage here! (Even if characters slapdash something at the last minute, it would be fun to see! It would even be encouraged after the crazy from the last event - kind of a way to get back in touch with themselves.)

CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth. (Helios and Ikki made posts in regard to it and there have been art club posters around, so anyone could have noticed those as well!)

I'll leave descriptions up to you all as there isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about their presentations and how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. Just keep in mind that this takes place in the plaza, there shouldn't be an issue with blocking traffic (there may be ropes up to try and keep pathways clear, however!), though it may branch around various points of the square depending on where someone wants a booth located / the number of actual participants. The square will also have a lot of brightly colored signs and decorations indicating what is going on!

We do. There's something in my world called bending, and it's when someone can control the elements. They're hard to fight, but not impossible.

A draft'll be different than you expect, if you go at all. And they're infrequent as compared to everything else. I'm not saying you shouldn't try to prepare, Asami-san, but preparing for a fight doesn't give you the same baptism of fire anyway. I'd focus more on surviving every Shift which comes at you if you've already got this talent. If you last long enough to see a battlefield, you'll be able to decide how you handle it then.

Kurt... [She reaches out for his hand.] I already accept you. If you think I only like you because you're cute, then you're wrong. I like you because you made me smile when I needed it most. When all I wanted to do was cry, you made me laugh, and that really means a lot to me.

It's different, but I'm going to accept you no matter how you look. It's what's inside that counts, right?

Shaking her hand firmly he looks down at her with a smile.]

[It's kind of a lie, but, he's been dealing. He's got a convincing enough grin that says he's okay though.]

I didn't come prepared with anything, mostly to look around. But if there's something you want to ask I would be happy to share it with you. [As much as she was able, because even though she was kept hidden from it for so long and for all its problems, she loved Auldrant and its people.]

This was organized by the school, right? I don't really go so I never made one. Besides, I doubt it'd be very interesting.

I am always willing to learn more, especially about other worlds. It is something I would never have had the opportunity to ask about before coming here.

I do not recall you mentioning any hymns either. I enjoy music however, so I would certainly like to hear more about them if you wish to explain.

[Song and music was one of the biggest things he missed about Agkelos. When he encountered such a thing in Luceti, he was always bound to go after it.]

In my world, fonic hymns are a form of magic that is sung. However, the ones I know are more powerful than what most people in my world are familiar with. They hold more meaning.

No, it's...an independent city. It was founded from the old fire nation colonies on the earth kingdom, mostly.

It's pretty amazing. All sorts of people from all over the world live there.

I don't think you can say that with absolute certainty, there's even a class for world sharing at the school. [Even though she didn't set up a booth herself, nor does she attend school anymore.

Yes, that was one of them, the first hymn. It was also the first one I learned completely, sometimes it would be all my brother would need to sing so I could fall asleep as a child. [For those nights when she was overcome with sadness or loneliness, the nights she would cry.]

Those hymns are a pact with the aggregate sentience of sound in my world, Lorelei. It's a promise.

Then Lorelei is... a spirit of sorts? A spirit of sound? It seems strange to think of a song holding so much power yet being used as something of a lullaby.
