Luceti Valley - The First Log

Summary: Luceti has become an idyllic and peaceful 50s-esque village. The first few days are just business as usual, right?

August 1st had seemed like an ordinary day in Luceti. But late in the evening, for those night owls who had not turned in yet, they were witness to strange fluctuations in the barrier. Beautiful, really, almost like Luceti had received its own 'Northern Lights', even though it seemed to come from the far east, across the ocean. This ominous light show lasted for all of fifteen minutes before it ceased all together. Skimming the ocean waters, a horde of cultists entered Luceti, cloaked by darkness. Upon reaching the entrance to the tunnels, their leader stepped inside and was followed one by one by his fellow cultists. When the last had entered, the tunnel entrance closed. Across the mountains, the entrance to the tunnels in the village did the same.

Midnight passed without incident, but by three in the morning, the change suddenly came. Minds were altered, forms were changed, and buildings sprang from nowhere.

Much later, on August 2nd, morning settled on a changed village, the new mayor made his way to his mansion with his pair of adorable dobermans at either side of him. The sun shined bright. It was a good day to be a Lucetian.

Note: There will be a stand alone log for the homecoming dance. There will be another log for the second stage of the event.

[He DID finally eat some carrots. She's a bit surprised though, he's so ready to eat mushrooms.

Her temper settles and she looks down at her plate of carrots.

[But there's some by the grill.

A pause.]

Stay right here, okay?

[OFF SHE GOES TO GET MUSHROOMS]

Sure. You don't want me to just follow you?

[If she wants him to stay here though, he will.]

[She calls over her shoulder;]

No! Stay there!

[She doesn't want him SNEAKING OFF but she quickly piles some mushrooms on her carrot plate and walks back, with a fork this time too so she's not shoving veggies in his mouth with her bare hands. Then she stabs one and offers the fork to him.]

Here. [She also brought you another hot dog just for eating some veggies.]

[Here's Minato who went off to supervise some grilling DON'T MIND HIM. He's just going to waltz in during the most opportune of moments where his family's eating veggies.]

Oh, what are you guys eating?

Kushina turns with her mouth full of mushroom, cheeks puffing out

chew...s and then offers her plate full of grilled carrots and mushrooms

Oh-- Hey Dad.

[His speech slightly muffled from the mouthful of- are those mushrooms he is eating?]

Once Kushina offers the plate, Minato looks at its contents and then back at his wife and son who are munching happily.]

They look great. [He gets the plate, pierces a mushroom piece with the fork, and eats it.] And they taste great, too.

[WHILE STILL CHEWING she nudges Naruto with a scowl for talking with his mouth full

BUT AFTER FINALLY SWALLOWING HER MOUTHFUL THO she shoots Minato a pleased smile]

They're a little better than Nagato's. He overcooks [that's putting it LIGHT...LY because everything he grills turns black nagato why] things a bit.
