Slumber Party~ (Backdated)

What: Slumber Party
When: Friday 13th, in the evening.
Where: House 17
Summary: Belle is throwing a slumber party open to the whole village! it's a totally gender equal thing
Rating: PG? PG-13? R because of Isaac?


Belle has spent most of the day preparing the house for the nightly festivities. She went out and got as much food and snacks and she and Beast could carry (which is a lot). She's also swept through every extra room in the house, laying out extra pillows and blankets where guests are sure to find them. Each room has enough sleeping supplies for about two people, so hopefully people will be bringing their own things as she asked.

As far as party plans go, it's a free-for-all. If anyone has any game or activity suggestions then they should come forward with them. After all, this is Belle's first slumber party and she doesn't know all of the traditions just yet. Except for one: pillow fights.

Well I couldn't resist helping out a bit. I-I mean it's a nice little reprieve from things, so thank you for taking the time out to set it up for everyone as well.

Oh, it's no problem at all. I'm just so glad people came. I was worrying that I had given too short a notice. Are you enjoying yourself?

Ah, well, I'm glad you're having a decent turnout. It's, um, not everyday we have slumber parties here. [ He smiles and nods a little. ]

Oh yes! It's wonderful so far.

That's unfortunate. I think it's such a unique type of party. But I guess not everyone lives in a place where they have enough room for everyone. [Having an open village slumber party in one of the apartments would...not work out well.]

I'm so glad. If you get hungry there is plenty of food in the kitchen.

It is! I think having something like this out in the town square would be nice. A sort of...sleep under the stars type of deal. It's quite popular back home. Ah! Yes. Everything looks wonderful, thank you!

[She grins widely.] Oh that's a wonderful idea! Perhaps we can do that next time if everyone enjoys this party. But it would probably be best to wait for spring, when the weather gets warm again.

[folklorist]

Yes I agree. No point in getting people sick after all. Though it's nice and cool out, not uncomfortably so, but it's still best to be cautious about these things.

Yes. I believe that colder weather is best enjoyed indoor while sitting next to a fire with a nice, warm cup of tea.

[folklorist]

Or a cup of hot chocolate with extra marshmallows. [ He smiles and laughs at that as he takes another sip of the beverage in his hand. ]

Oh, yes. That sounds wonderful as well. And since we're on the topic, what do you like to do during the holidays? Do you decorate or play in snow at all?

[folklorist]

The holidays, hm? Well I do like to cook and decorate, definitely. The snow here is like the snowfall we get Romania really, so-so I tend to make snow mythica around that time. It's rather fun! I love the holidays there's so much lore and history within them.
