[Teddy hears the voice, and in that moment, he wanted so badly to shift. To make himself stop crying like always, because it's easy, it's always so easy. But again, he just... can't. Nothing he does works, and he hates himself for it, hates this place for taking way such a key part of himself.

Instead, he sits up, one hand clasped tightly over his mouth, and tries to find his voice. It's hard when his throat is clogged, when tears still turn down his face as he reads the note at his feet over and over. But he tries, and so his voices comes out in something like a watery croak (which must've sounded so unattractive, god).]

[The third one that tried to get at the Saiyan manages to tackle the Prince, but it's not like he hasn't been in this position before; blocking the punches with his arms, he grabs both fists flying in at him and manages to wiggle one leg out from underneath the bully's body and kicks him square in the jaw.

That'll teach them, yep.]

[Spock grabs Vegeta's arm and tugs... wanting him to leave the bullies.]

I do not believe that they will bother us again. However, I feel the need to leave the area.

Fine, have it your way. [But turning to the bullies, he's still got something to say.] Try something like that again and I won't be so nice next time. Be thankful this one here doesn't want me to kill all three of you.

[He joins Spock at his side, sending once last glare at the boys.] Let's go. We're too good for this pile of trash anyhow.

[It's flat but there's a faint quirk to her lips. Just as she doesn't expect herself to like much, she doesn't expect others to either. Particularly Daria, it seems.]

I don't think you can decide that yet. But it might take longer. [Like a lot longer. They can fix the temperature problem, but not the other difficulties so easily.]
