Summary: So you remember all those times Luceti was transformed into Luceti Land? Welcome to Malnosso World, Luceti Land's bigger, cooler brother. Be sure to keep all hands inside the rides at all times, and refer to your map if you get lost. Trust me, you'll get lost.

[Jade was only able to briefly put up a good fight against the droids before he was shifted into the Malnosso World. On the first day, he spends most of his time in the central area, in the interests of looking after the injured Nephry. At the same time, he avoids any close proximity to her. At the same time, he gathers what information he can and spends time bumming around at the spa.

He becomes more outgoing once Nephry is back on her feet for the most part. He still spends much of his team at the spa - although most others will only catch him when he has his robes on. He does begin to check out the areas of the park throughout the park, however, whether it's for his own investigative purposes or because Peony has insisted on dragging him along. Along the way, he struggles with that fear he first noticed during the droid attack. He's developing his own case of gynophobia - fear of women - and doing his best to deal with it in order to avoid looking like a living Guy Cecil parody. He'll be trying to keep his distance from females while talking to them.

Some places he can be found? He'll try his luck at Casino Land. And at Cartoon Land, he'll be like Bugs Bunny in glasses, being somewhat sadistically amused by how easily he can injure others without actual consequence. Even without his powers there, he tries to recreate odd versions of his fonic artes by combining various cartoon effects - mostly resulting in things like an Indignation of anvils.

At Bubble Land, he takes notes on the depictions of enclosure life there just to be able to analyze what it means. He'll keep his ears open for information. And... oddly enough, he will voluntarily go on the paddle-boats of love, although he primarily does so in order to test his phobia and find a way to control it. Having to temporarily feel such... feeling that he's unaccustomed to, is just a small price to pay. He'll also be caught by an aging shift - so you can run into the 9 year old Jade there as well, or at Junior Land.

Finally, throughout this week Jade will be garbed in this instead of his normal military regalia. Was he somehow shifted into the costume at some point, or is he wearing this villainous costume openly? Jade thinks it's more entertaining to leave that question as a mystery.]

[ It's been awhile, hasn't it? Rapunzel comes across Jade when she's making her way through the sites of Bubble Land - it's a little quaint, but she doesn't much like it there herself. She almost doesn't stop to greet him - wouldn't it be better for both of them that way? - but Rapunzel pushes the thought aside and waves to him. ]

Hello, Jade. Are you having fun?

[For just a moment, Jade seems distressed by her presence - her close vicinity.]

[But then he transitions as quickly and smoothly as he can manage into a smug smile, shuffling several steps to the right as he does so - the distance making it a bit easier to talk to her.]

Hahaha... Well, well. I suppose 'fun' is a rather relative term. However, you should call me by a more appropriate name. After all... [He holds up his card.] I am currently Max, a humble farmboy called to defend his planet - from an actual sentient farm, it seems.

[He has less issue with Rapunzel's presence in general. As long as she wasn't trying to seek anything as a 'daughter', Jade didn't see much harm in casual interactions. But it was this newfound fear that wanted him to get this over with as soon as possible - without arousing her suspicion.]

[ She watches him carefully, surprised he would take such a casual tone. But it wasn't surprising, was it? He wanted to put their fake relation out of sight and out of mind, and maybe he had been successful in that on his own.

Or maybe he was just pretending as such. ]

Oh - and I'm Isabella, a pirate ship captain known for my...brutal torture techniques. [ Yep. ] I'd rather just be myself, though.

[Jade was always good at not letting his feelings to the surface and joking about it. Especially now that time had passed. And the emotions were no longer raw. The more pressing thing was this fear within him.]

Is that so? It's a shame. I'm sure that you would have made for a worthy adversary, Isabella.

[degleamed]

Why can't regular old Rapunzel be a worthy adversary?

[ She may or may not have said that with a bit of a pout. ]

She doesn't have any impressive criminal record to speak - at least, not one that I've been aware of. [He smirks challengingly.]

Well, one of my dearest associates is a thief...

Well, just knowing a criminal is not proof of being one yourself. Unless of course you have been an accessory to said associate's crimes. [He says with an indifferent wave of his hand.]

[Anya intended to check out the boats, mostly due to curiosity - the lines seem so long and it almost doesn't seem worth it, but the rest of Bubble Land seems obnoxious at best. Still, there's some element of ... head shaking involved in watching people get hit by shifts while waiting on the lines themselves, watching people further ahead of her turn pink, or green, or spontaneously bursting into song. Things that were usually considered spell misfires back "home". If that even counted as "home" anymore.

As it gets closer to her turn to step into the boat, Anya squints at the other line, trying to determine whom her partner would be before it reaches that point. Still, it's not revealed to the brunette until it's finally her turn.]

That took forever.

[It had entertaining for Jade to observe the people around him in line undergo a variety of similar shifting effects - that is, until the man in front of him was turned into a woman. That led to a brief moment of embarrassment before he was able to reel in his reaction.

Jade kept reminding himself that he was a soldier. His self-control had always worked without flaws. This phobia was just some unusual bug in his system that had to be ironed out.

Then the time comes, and he finally sees the woman he'll be rowing with. He took some steps forward that were a bit stiffer than usual as he approached the boat, while he guides himself through the motions. Control your breathing rate. Adjust your glasses. Give a casual smile.]

Why yes, it did. And yet, I'm left feeling that the shifting side-show has ended all too soon. It's a shame. I can only hope that this voyage proves to be half as entertaining.

If it doesn't, we should demand a refund.

[She doesn't even really know what they're supposed to get out of the ride. So far it seemed fairly unexciting, but they hadn't even gone into the tunnel yet.]

[He sits still in the boat - calmly. As he's trying to keep his breathing rate to a normal level and control as much of his body that's reacting as possible. If he can master this and keep himself from slipping into a truly Guy-esque reaction, then... well, it would be a step towards preserving his dignity.

He focused his gaze towards the river as he spoke non-chalantly; controlling himself without looking at her was like doing the "easy mode", essentially.]

If we did that, I'd have to wonder what we'd get back.

Probably just the same useless token we spent to come on here. But then we could go spend it on something else. Like a popsicle.

[Of course everything was still free anyway, but it's nice to just pretend that it might cost money.]

I can't say that I have much of a taste for cold treats. [Being raised up north gives him more of a taste for some warm and spicy curry.

He gives a smirk - feeling in control enough to hazard a quick glance towards her.]

Perhaps we should try pose as Malnosso officials and see what we can get from them in that instance.

It'll be a start. Once we find out how much they're really worth, we can educate others to use them wisely.

Going that far sounds troublesome. Why not keep whatever benefits we reap to ourselves?

[This is the worst. Rooming. Situation. EVER. Why did Emil have to end up in a villa with this creep? And what's more, why can't he just leave Emil ALONE?

All Emil wants is to be able to spend some downtime in the villa in peace, but that doesn't seem like it's something he's going to be allowed. In fact, he's preparing himself for something terrible to happen once he opens the door to walk out of his bedroom...]

[Jade was sitting in an armchair in the living room, quietly reading a book... and then his eyes sharply turned towards Emil the moment he entered.]

Ah, Emil. I was wondering when you would show yourself.

[Dammit, spotted. So much for being able to sneak out without being seen and/or teased.

He'll just try to play it cool.]

What do you mean? I was just taking a nap, that's all.

For longer than usual, yes. [HE'S BEEN KEEPING TRACK.] Now have a seat.

[This is Emil pointedly NOT coming any closer.]

What for? I was about to go out to the park. Can't it wait until later?

[He's quiet for a moment, as if contemplating something.]

The park can wait until later. And the couch will have you now.

I don't want to sit on the couch for whatever it is you want to do to me. I want to go out and have fun in the park with everyone else.

[Yes, Emil is aware that he sounds like a child right now. He also doesn't really care.]
