What: A field trip for the entirety of Luceti!
When: October 27th, until the end of November 2nd
Where: The Happiest Place on the Moon, Malnosso World!
Summary: So you remember all those times Luceti was transformed into Luceti Land? Welcome to Malnosso World, Luceti Land's bigger, cooler brother. Be sure to keep all hands inside the rides at all times, and refer to your map if you get lost. Trust me, you'll get lost.

[Spock crouched down beside Vegeta, tilting his head in curiosity.]

I can help you, I am not lost.

[Spock can't help but feel bad for the young Prince...and he looks around, trying to see if there's anything that will make him feel better.]

Do you wish to go on a ride?

[misterbrief]

It doesn't matter. [As long as Spock stayed with him. He will burst into tears again if he's left by himself. He's still fighting to keep his tears under control.]

Lead the way, I'll follow. But if we're to go on a ride, make sure it's one that doesn't have some kind of ridiculous line.

[Spock looked concerned still... and he gently tugged on Vegeta's arm to help him stand.]

Perhaps something to eat then? They seem to have a wide variety here.

[Which was a fancy way of saying 'hey, they've got a lot of candy here!']

[misterbrief]

[Food? He can do food.]

Alright, let's go. Just talking about food is making me hungry and I don't like to wait. [And off he marches! Beelining to the nearest place where he and Spock can get some candy or food or what have you. But he is making sure he's not leaving Spock behind.]

[Spock is still looking at Vegeta with concern. He's never seen the other man with such vulnerability, and assumed that it never existed in his childhood either.
The Vulcan made sure to stay close...]

May I inquire as to why you were so... upset earlier? Did someone leave you?

[misterbrief]

[He raises his eyebrow and wants to say something nasty, but he knows Spock will leave if he pushes it too far. He really doesn't want that to happen.]

I was left yes, but that's not why I was upset. There's something wrong with me Spock, and I don't understand why because I've never had an issue with anything like it before. And when I can I'm going to make those idiots pay for it. [Because why the hell would he have monophobia if it weren't for the Malnosso? He's not stupid, he knows it's their fault, it has to be.]

[Spock stops...

Oh. He's not the only one then. There have been things happening that are out of his control, and he knew there was something off about this place.]

There is something wrong with me as well. I appear to have developed Achluophobia.

[misterbrief]

Achluophobia, huh? So that means you need a nightlight. [Well, as long as he's not suffering alone.] I've got Monophobia, and let me tell you how wonderful that is.

[Spock blinks at Vegeta, then steps closer to him, tugging on the Prince's shirt.]

I will not leave you alone.

[misterbrief]

[He's not sure if it's because they're kids, but out of all the arguing he's done with Spock, the Vulcan certainly didn't have to feel the need to stay with him, knowing about his condition. He was more expecting him to leave, to get revenge, but he wasn't. And honestly he's not sure how to feel about that.]

[His hard expression doesn't change, but he doesn't shoo the boy away either.]

Let's go have a little fun, Spock. You know who I am, correct? [Because not everyone gets to keep their memories.]

[It's part of Spock's nature... he would never willingly leave someone in need.]

I know exactly who you are Prince Vegeta.

[The Vulcan steered them towards booths with different games...

...what was 'wack-a-mole'?]

Well, alright, then I guess reintroductions aren't necessary. [He doesn't now what wack-a-mole is either. He didn't pay attention to that stuff.

He marches right up to the booth, looking for the attendant. And will naturally, be himself.]

Hey! The two of us want to try this silly game of yours! [And he will cross his arms and tap his finger on his arm impatiently. He expects good service!]

[Spock blinks at Vegeta, not looking impressed.]

It might be wise to ask politely Prince Vegeta. Though I must say, that is is rather fascinating to see that you were always like this...

[Heh.]

[misterbrief]

Or they could be a little quicker about it. [Yeah, not much has changed, has it.] I won't have us standing around wondering when they'll finally decide to get around to us.

[And finally the attendant does, because who wants to deal with a loud rude child like him for long?] See?

Indeed.

[Spock almost smiles. But, that would be very un-Vulcan like behaviour. Instead, Spock very precisely boops his mole with the rubber mallet.

Oh, look at that, he got points.]

[misterbrief]

[He watches Spock smack his mole, and he takes his own mallet and hits the mole that pops up on his side as hard as he can. It's probably a good thing he doesn't have his powers here, or he'd of probably destroyed the machine with that whack.]

How about we see who can get the most points before this ends, what do you say? [He's confident he'll win!]

[Spock looks quite amenable to that suggestion.]

Very well. On your mark? Get set...

...go!

[The Vulcan continues to be precise and methodical, steadily gaining points.]

[Challenge accepted!

He keeps an eye out, whacking every mole he can, his points also going up. Maybe this was a little more fun than he thought.]

Come on Spock, keep up!

[The young Vulcan quirks an eyebrow and sneaks at glance at the Prince. How was he winning? Then again, Spock wasn't all that bothered since he could see how much fun Vegeta was having.

Maybe Spock was having fun too.]

I believe the phrase is, 'eat my dust'.

[misterbrief]

[If that had been anyone, anyone else, telling him something like that, he'd of gotten angry and started smacking his own moles even harder than he was before. But because it's Spock, using a phrase like that, it catches him by surprise, and actually makes him laugh, looking over and actually smiling at his companion.]

You know, I thought you didn't have a grasp of euphemisms. I'm impressed! [Which could be taken genuinely or snide, because it's a little of both. The kind of friendly teasing he's barely capable of as a child, only possible because of retained adult memories. And a tiny gratefulness for Spock's company.]

Argh! I missed one because you distracted me!

I have learned from the best, it seems. [Spock might have just indirectly complimented Vegeta too. The Vulcan is on a roll, but never once does his arm cease moving...

...better catch up, he's winning.]

[misterbrief]

[Guh! He can't lose to a Vulcan, his pride won't allow it!]

[He concentrates on his own now, but he's a little too far behind to catch up before the game will end...crap. Did he really just lose?] That wasn't fair!

Do you wish to try again?

[Because Spock would be totally cool with that. Believe it or not, he was actually enjoying himself. He's never had an opportunity to be a 'kid'.]

[misterbrief]

You bet! And this time, I won't be losing! [And the game starts again, with Vegeta concentrating solely on his own targets, not paying Spock any mind, nor even bothering to look at his opponent's points. He'd get them all anyway, he swears!]

[Spock almost smiled as he watched Vegeta enthusiastically pummel the moles.

Needless to say, the Prince won... and Spock looked pleased.]
