What: A field trip for the entirety of Luceti!
When: October 27th, until the end of November 2nd
Where: The Happiest Place on the Moon, Malnosso World!
Summary: So you remember all those times Luceti was transformed into Luceti Land? Welcome to Malnosso World, Luceti Land's bigger, cooler brother. Be sure to keep all hands inside the rides at all times, and refer to your map if you get lost. Trust me, you'll get lost.

"They're obsesses with television," the dwarf supplied.

Sokka just gestured at the dwarf to convey a what he said.

[seismicity]

Because that's helpful. "What's that supposed to mean?"

[markofthewise]

"It means they're not exactly rooted in reality," Sokka answered.

"And they're obsessed with Wyoming," said the unusually large man, who didn't bother to turn.

[seismicity]

That is the weirdest way to describe someone, that thing with the television. But Toph just shrugged.

"We've met weirder people before." Bumi comes to mind easily, especially since he was part of one of her last memories of home. "But I dunno, maybe it's 'cause their world sounds kinda boring most of the time." A world without bending, Sokka! How do they even deal.

He nodded. There were parts of their world that intrigued them. Their technology was appealing to him, but had been sated as he learned from Asami that their own world was headed in that direction as well.

But there was still one thing that never sat right with him. "Not to mention the bears. And all the other animals."

[seismicity]

"Hey, they can keep their bears, and other creepy only half-an-animals. That's just not natural."

[markofthewise]

"Works for me."

And that was when Sokka realized that in all this talking, the line had only moved about five feet.

"... we're going to die here."

[seismicity]

Toph hadn't realized either, not until he pointed it out.

She scowled.

"This was your stupid idea."

[markofthewise]

"Well how was I supposed to know the line was so long!?"

Sokka stared hopelessly at the winding line ahead of them and realized just how awful things truly were.

"We're going to die here, Toph..."

[seismicity]

"Uh, I don't think so. Come on, Snoozles. Keep your knees high!" She is not dying in this line before she gets to try this rollercoaster! As far as she's concerned, she's going to make it to the end through sheer force of will if she has to.

Forty-five minutes later though, they'd only managed to get around one bend, and had maybe two or three more to go. By now, Toph had befriended the Wyomingan ahead of them and were comparing notes on how to best to throw an enemy out of a ring.

Sokka was sitting up on the rails now, looking incredibly bored now that Toph had stopped paying attention to him. He tried to bring up smithing to the dwarf, but the short man got immediately offended that Sokka had apparently just assumed he was some kind of weapon smith. So that nipped that in the bud.

"Man I am so thirsty... I should have grabbed a drink before this."

[seismicity]

Toph tilted her head back in the direction Sokka's voice was coming from. She'd been picked up and put in a headlock by Mr. Ribcrusher over here, but she didn't seem too overly concerned about it.

"Don't be such a baby, Sokka. Just think, if you brought a drink, you'd be begging for a trip to the little boy's room instead of dying of thirst or whatever."

Sokka just stared at Toph and Mr. Ribcrusher and just sighed.

"Yeah, yeah. I know. Could you two maybe stop killing each other for awhile?"

[seismicity]

"We're not killing each other!" Toph squirmed a little, elbowing her new friend in the ribs until he had to drop her. From like five feet off the ground, oof. "... We're just bored out of our skulls. Why don't they give us things to do while waiting around?"

[markofthewise]

"That is supposed to be the entertainment." Sokka pointed up at the roller coaster above them, which they were still not on.

[seismicity]

"Yeah, and you keep saying it's gonna be worth the wait. So it better be!"

[markofthewise]

"It will be. It will be."

Another forty minutes later and they were right in front of the ride. But they'd been there for twenty minutes already. Their giant friend was gone and apparently had caused the ride to have a mechanical issue.

"I can't believe it's still not fixed..."

[seismicity]

"Maybe you jinxed it, Sokka. The universe hates you, and now it won't let us get on."

I THOUGHT YOU WERE SLEEPING

[markofthewise]

Sokka slumped to the ground and rested his back against the wall. "I wish I could even argue with that."

you're not my dad!!! (I'm going to bed for real yes)

[seismicity]

Toph shrugged and just crossed her arms impatiently.

"What's even going on, anyway? It was our turn ages ago!" She raised her voice a little. Maybe she couldn't throw her name around, but she could still raise a fuss and get the others behind them to follow suit. Perhaps a riot would speed things along. (If it didn't throw them out of the line, anyway.)
