I mean, it doesn't happen often, and it kinda takes a lot? Like basically as long as our people still think of themselves as ours, we can be ok. So like, no one runs around all "tch'yeah, I'm totally Roman," so Rome's, like, gone. But even though they took my place off the map and stuff? My people are still basically super-pissed every time someone tells them they're Russian citizens, or Prussian or Austrian or whatever. So I'm still around, and I guess maybe I can't die as long as they don't forget they're my people?

Probably why Russia gets majorly pissed when we still speak Polish, actually.
